I think the reason four is the answer for the first question is that you have to find all the holes in A POLO so its one in the A, one in the P and one for each of the Os.

Explanation to the polo question: a polo is a kind of shirt so you have the neck hole, the hole at the bottom and 2 arm holes. This adds up to 4 holes. A polo typically has buttons, so if you count the holes that the buttons goes into, it would be more, but ig they don't count those.

You know what I’ve actually figured it out, ‘A polo’ has 4 wholes. Polos have the word ‘polo’ on them so that might be why. Also so could argue that the single whole counts as two wholes.
