yessssssss loved the vid yaar Vishal ! always look forward to your videos man (also REALLY appreciate the 'tamizh' spelling instead of writing 'tamil' that 'zh' pronunciation is KEY to Tamizh language because no other language has that letter. And we stan if it its pronounced right :) Just thought would give some background info Also pls do come to Chennai, Tamil Nadu after the pandemic eases a little!

@@sailaxmi7302 Actually the 'zh' pronunciation is present in Marathi. Its like a infinity symbol turned 90 degrees. We us it words like kamal ( where it is used instead of the 'l' sound at the end )

as a tamilian the word shallots seem weird to me coz in tamilnadu we call it " chinna vengaayam " which means small onion !

don't worry, even in Hindi we call them "chhote pyaaz" (which means 'small onion' only) lol. Shallot is for those fancy English speakers...us desis don't use it much XDDD

Me a northeastern guy going to Chennai for the first time, staying in the college hostel, and tasting rasam for the first time..... And immediately loving it .... By the time I ended my college... I was drinking rasam like filter coffee.... And yes rasam, carrot poriyal, along with beetroot poriyal with rice and appalam is heaven and finishing up with payasam is like...on Another heavenly level...... 😭😭😭😭.. miss my chennai mess 😭😭😭😭😭😭.

This is something I make every Diwali, Pongal, anniversary , birthdays and during Tamil puttandu( New year)....it's like a wholesome meal for the entire family. Good to see non tamilians enjoying our Tamil virundhu..👌

Swiss person here who lived in Malaysia two years ago. I was pregnant and ate banana leaf Tamil thali almost everyday! I love these dishes. Side note: whoever made the subtitles, god bless you!

I love these series as it helps to knows kore about different state culture without any prejudice. In India as their are allot of culture difference from state ti state we often have allot of prejudice about eachother also ends up in misappropriation allot fo time but youtube channels like this help to normalize knowing and loving everyones culture also representation of people from all the states without steretyping
