I may have to get another tripod! This one is toast. Nothing like 26k lbs to put a kink in a tripod! I love this dozer. It’s a bit more work than the newer ones but it works well and I’m getting a good feel for where my hands need to be and when. In the video there is a spot where I forgot to hit the decelerator and had to double foot the clutch. Had my head on filming and not on operating.
Nice dozer, I've got a d4h like that one that I restored. Not sure why you have a bungie on the throttle leaver. Also, a nice set of bluetooth hearing protection will be alot cheaper than hearing aids later on in life. Looks like good fun though.
It’s my buddies dozer and it came like that. I should have adjusted it. The throttle spring is pretty stiff and this really helps. I’m sure lubing up a few things would help it to function better. Thanks for watching the video and thanks for the comment!!
There is a service window to the left of the deaccelerator pedal. If you use too long of bolts in the bottom of it the bolts will bind the throttle lever.
I love it. Wouldn’t mind being in a cab and ac with electronic controls at my fingertips. But this is a really good machine in my opinion. This one happens to be in great shape as well. Real stable, pushes well, has good power for its size, and fairly simple unlike a lot of new stuff. Thanks for the comment!
