LMAOO i’m sorryyy to ruin your High Society dupe with Apple of my Eye 🙈🤣 you did so great with these though! Especially Catalina & Kokomo, but i would say the only element you’re missing is the dainty holo sparkle, like CG Fairy Dust/MC Moondust/HT Scattered etc! Idr how dense those are tho so maybe they would add too much holo compared to whats in cirque’s finish 🤔

Not only did you dupe several of them really close, but for less money. which is rare, because layering 2 or 3 polishes is usually gonna cost more than a single polish. China Glaze and LA Colors MVP. You inspired me to buy a bunch of LA colors earlier this month.

As a Cirque fan, a neon fan, and a shimmer fan, I was underwhelmed when I saw the collection in person. I’ll think they’re grow on me as I wear them. Flamingo is really pretty, def my favorite. Try layering Merkitten over a light pink. High Society is nice, but I like Atomic Sour Apple Rings better. Day Tripper is really pretty - I can’t think of anything close to it!

Agreed Cirque needs a hero swatcher. Their photos rarely do their polishes justice. They generally have a lot of beautiful subtlety going on in their formulas, but if you just stick to their site, you can't really tell

Cat-a-lean-a, I think is that's how it's pronounced. I love the combo you came up with for Bitchin', though I think "I left my heart in Havana" is a little too blue leaning a purple and wonder if "that's shore bright" by china glaze or another of their pinker leaning mid tone purples with that topper might have been a nearly dead on dupe. This is the first of your "can I dupe it" videos I've watched and now I want to watch them all and get ideas for layering my own polishes. I actually used to experiment a lot with layering my not so work friendly colors with other polishes to be able to wear my unique (at the time as it was late 90s) preferred colors and not get in trouble with my bosses for painting my nails in everything but the nudes, pinks and reds that were acceptable at the time. Purples and blacks layered with a platinum silver polish was my work around, lol. Edit to add: I wonder if china glaze "I'm with the lifeguard" would be a good base to dupe High Society with. I'm not sure what polish to use for the yellow/gold shimmer aspect. 🤔

LynB Designs just shared some polish collections they are bring to PBE and later releasing on their website at the end of July and a few look like VERY close dupes for some of the California Dreamin collection. And LynB always does half off codes when they release new collections!

Well done! I read the chapters im the description without knowing any polish names and saw "Bitchin" and thought "? what is she bitchin about?" (you have to read this with a German accent). Was baited and clicked of course
