Loool I live in NM, I have a bottle of Moxie in my fridge - they sell it at Cracker Barrel 😂 I bought it because I heard Stephen King mention it once and I was terribly intrigued. Still haven't worked up the courage to try it 😅
I've never commented on a RU-vid video before but I wanted to say I love watching your dupe it videos! It really makes me want to play with my collection instead of pining over new polishes. It also makes me think about how I can be more strategic about expanding my collection, like bringing in more jellies and toppers instead of a thousand other specialty finish polishes. (why oh why have the Walmart gods forsaken me by not carrying the la colors jellies!?) The 1st sage brush skittle was sooo beautiful btw. About price comparisons- I would love to see these broken down by price per mL instead of just the total amount a dupe comes out to. If you use 3 polishes, it may seem like a crazy expensive dupe, but if you take into account how much polish you are getting, it might actually turn out to be cheaper! Using your fields of lavender dupe as an ex, the dupe is 25$/27mL or $0.93 per mL compared to mooncat's $1.33 per mL. Keep up the awesome videos!

My favorite is Feet Aren't Free, and I agree the names should be switched, but that green with the red shimmer, love it! And the Moxie tangent, lol, I always thought it tasted like someone spiked rootbear with some kind of cleaner, that nasty chemical aftertaste was just 🤢.
Linryyyy i am so sorry for this incoming wall of text 😩 but i had to let you knowww i want to start by saying, i'm newish to the community, been a longtime hobbyist of nail polish but didnt discover the boutique and indie brands, stamping etc until a few months ago. when i started seeing people mentioning problems with brands, i went looking and found the redditlaqueristas group on discord and the brand awareness channel. the thing was, it seemed like a lot of the info was missing? like sometimes there were receipts and sometimes it was basically "this person from a facebook group says this is what happened" which might totally be true but wouldn't really stand up in court you know what i mean? so the maniology thread does have some receipts on the problems, but the true crime plate (even given the culturally insulting plates they STILL sell) seemed too outrageous to be true. i swear i searched for weeks, i got my friend who is doing a phd to search too even, and we could nottttt find a pic of the true crime plate. i think it got scrubbed. i gave up, i did not expect to find it here. all of this is to say, i know it's uncomfortable to bring up "drama," but you have provided me with a piece of evidence i searched and searched and searched for and could not find. archiving is a crucial public service, and you deserve credit for keeping and providing clear evidence of wrongdoing. i used search engines and checked all through reddit and discord and i could find references to it, but no pictures. i just want to say, i appreciate it, and i appreciate you stating the facts and sharing the proof even though it must be so so so uncomfortable to do. you're great, thank you 🙏 ♥️

Ok so, I'm a graphic designer and I'm super picky about design and curently I hate China Glaze because there is way too much writing on their bottles! Too much clutter! What if they don't change their bottles or the name but they could do a graphic design revamp, cleaning up the writing on the front and maybe a logo redesign? Would fit with your label that was different. 🕵

Just had to let you know - after seeing you use Zoya's Charla in a couple of these videos, I had to buy it. Partially from repeated exposure to it, and partially for that unique name. When I was a kid, my parents gave me a teddy bear on the same day I saw the cartoon version of "Charlotte's Web." I wanted to name my bear after that spider, so named her Charla! (My family tried to correct my misremembered name to no avail!) Charla and I were inseparable for years. So seeing you mention that polish repeatedly (even if you do mangle the name!) brought such a smile to my face that I had to buy it for myself! 😂 (And honestly, since I created the name for my bear by mangling "Charlotte," your difficulty with the name just seems fitting!) 💚🥰

Gurl your Jewel Beetle dupe attempt had me laughing so hard. I would have to give it 1 imaginary point 😂 Have you tried ILNP's multichromes? The formulas are great, except their brushes make application a little annoying. I like the formula better than any other brand and the price point is pretty good too! I always grab some ILNP's on Black Friday.
The "Fuck you editing Linry" caught me off guard so bad it put me in tears. 🤣 Thanks for doing these, they are always so fun to watch because we have such different collections.
I'm laughing about the Thanksgiving convo. Back when I used to date cross border in Maine and being a Canadian, there was a time when I got to celebrate Thanksgiving twice a year, once in October and again in November. It was a Thanksgiving dinner with a past boyfriend's family that I tried sweet potatoes for the first time, with marshmallows, and found out how damn delicious they were at age 17 or 18 years old.
I can’t imagine how you got through all of these attempts so fast. Didn’t they *just* release this collection? And just out of curiousity: have you done controlled experiments on your fiancé, say by swatching a polish you own and showing him the official swatch photos? Imagine if he confirmed that certain brands’ photos tend to, shall we say, misrepresent what their polishes look like IRL!
yeah they released it Friday so I started attempting Friday 💀. Oh and I have when I think I'm "overreacting" about a polish looking too different from the swatches 100% of the time hes agreed with me lol

I have a dupe attempt for After the Rain, or...near attempt. You Do Blue from Essie is a beautiful periwinkle creme base with a subtle orchid purple shimmer. You could add a scattered holo topper to it or a pink shimmer topper and I think it would work well. Also about Jewel Beetle and Dark Night of the Soul...I don't mind releasing same colors different formulas, I just worry they're not going to do that flakie formula anymore because they did that with a Most Destructive Melody as well (Supervillain is the flakie version). I love that finish, I would love to see more. Oh and another dupe - Smoulder Lite from Clionadh us basically Jewel Beetle. Imo you can't beat Cliondah when it comes to multichromes (they hold decent sales! Linry look at their greens, they are so so good - Patina Light, Appletini, Spicy Margarita are just a few!)

I would love to! but unfortunately that would add hours of editing, to an all ready long editing process. Trust me it's been the #1 thing I've been thinking about on how to improve theses videos. The moment I figure out how to stream line the solution it will be done.
