Looks too tedious for a butter finger like myself. I've gotta have at least 3 iPods plus an iPod Touch around here somewhere. On one the hard drive died and on the other two the batteries died. ( the iPod Touch is working fine but when that battery goes I'm not even sure if it's designed to be replaced ). What's the going rate for a conversion like this , ( minus the larger battery ) ? . . . Plus, I thought iTunes no longer existed so how would u activate the newly converted iPod ? 📱

Hello! For a standard battery replacement i charge $35. For a 256GB upgrade I charge $141. Itunes still exists. I use it every day. You use it the same as always. Download it, install it, plug your Ipod into your computer and sync music. The only different is though is music from subscription based Itunes will not work with an Ipod Classic. It has to be an actual bought piece of music.

@@hobbiesunlimited1 you've got big "stubby" fingers. Hard to imagine how careful u have to be in order to avoid tearing one of those fragile looking ribbon wires. What about the iPod Touch, can those batteries be changed to? And thanks for the info. Very helpful.

@@prematureoptimism7125 ha you aren't wrong. My eyesight is also not quite where it used to be and the new struggle is those really small screws. I am not sure on the ipod touch. I am sure it is changeable, but ive never tried one. Not sure if there is soldering involved.
