Ivan, I think you are trying to talk yourself into doing more work down to this level, especially since electronic parts are becoming more scarce these days. Also, your help led me to this channel. Thank you.
Awesome, just awesome! I have done some board repairs before but just resistors, caps, and diodes, but never to this level. You inspire me, thank you! Mad respect!
Watching your videos and repairs makes me realize that I’m so far behind the ball on this. I feel like a caveman that was just given a gas powered chainsaw to replace his stick with a rock tied onto. 😂
I found your site from Pine Hollow and I'm very impressed, most places get new ones or they used a used one and none o them try to fix it. Keep up the good work.
Jake you are on your way to being one of the best diagnostics mech on you tube . You are very smart in finding the answers to auto repairing and another person is erie on south main auto. . And their is so many more but you are one of the best. You know what and how i feel about ivan with pine hollow diagnostics. Ivan really needs the money he has to pay for his medicine to keep the pimple off his baby face and for ivan to buy his latex gloves . Ivan dont need to get grease off a auto on his hands . Ivan will have to go to a place to get his finger nails clean. So dont worry ivan everyone will watch out for you ha ha ha lol lol
Back in the day I bought a digital clock because I figured it had the chip I needed to fix another clock for a girl friend I had at the time. That worked for me just like your replacement of a chip on this vehicle worked for you. Girl friend long gone thank goodness, but the memory of that clock fix is still fondly stored in my heart. Loved this video. Thanks for Sharing!
Dude ur videos are awsome, u better not stop! We will meet at a training event someday. Keep up the excellent videos specially anything eeprom and mcus!
I second that.. Keep posting interesting diagnostic videos and keep the rhythm going... I just stumbled across your videos and I am liking your videos already... Hard to find top notch guys like you in this field
under the seat that green gungies connector have you tried some white vinegar and salt heated in a tin or jar dip the whole connector in and whisk then rinse with bicarbonate of soda in water to neutralise and dry the connector should look like new then use a spritz of deoxit for longevity if you got some copper wire you want to solder and have oxidised black give this a try
Hello, I hope you are doing great. I have question I bought TCM from amazon i’m just wondering would it work if I get junkyard TCM or buy from ebay or amazon and reprogram it if necessary. I have 2012 ford focus that have been sitting in my driveway for couple of months now, and I’m trying to get back on road.
Ultimately I found someone had left the TCM grounds loose and that cause the TCM to try to find a ground through the CAN Bus Transceiver chip and damaged it.
@@autodiagyt You can my friend 💪💪 didn’t realize you followed me I appreciate it. Keep grinding and doing what you are doing. You diag guys are wizards in my book one day I’ll be on your level maybe🤣 We are looking for a larger location to grow the shop and start bringing in employees. I subscribed my friend 👍
@@autodiagyt okay great, just trying get into vehicle programming. Looking for someone who I can reach out to incase I have questions before programming a module(s). Someone with experience. Thanks for the reply :)
Do you do house calls 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 jk I’m in Arkansas not sure we’re your at. But learning more things I’m not liking about my car. Miss older cars just pop the hood climb in and play.
A lot of your diag videos are pretty basic. Seems when you look for a battery drain you check for networks staying awake. You have a process that works. Sad a lot of guys don’t know basic scope usage. But I can understand it because the flat rate ways of time is money
So true. I get a lot of Mercedes towed to my place from dealerships because techs don’t know how to properly diagnose. And I’m not a shop. I just had a W222 S-Class here, dealership quoted the customer $8000 just for diag work without a guarantee they will know what’s wrong. It took my 15 minutes to find the problem, 3 days for the part to come in and 30 minutes to fix it. Another happy customer on its way.
