Can I Get a Streetpass in 2024? 

For a week now, I've been getting one StreetPass per day. I couldn't understand why it was always the same person. Then I realized that the other 3DS user lives in the same student building as me

I love streetpass so much. I went to Portland Retro Gamint Expo last year and got probably close to 100 streetpass. Even got MetalJesusRocks mii haha

it may not have been as powerful as a psvita, but it holds a special place in my heart.

In January I actually hopelessly went for a stroll with my 3DS and to my surprise I saw the Streetpass light green. When I opened it up it was just a streetpass notification to modify Mario Kart 7 streetpass settings so I was really disappointed. A few days later when I opened my Mii Plaza I saw a user that I had not seen before so I really did get a Streetpass and I'm so happy about that!

Me and like 2 other kids still bring our 3DSs to school. I don’t really use it at school much but I only bring it for Streetpass. One time we did 6 player Mario Kart 7. That was one of the moments of all time.

I actually went to a few airports a few weeks ago and also failed to obtain any streetpass tags.. however I plan to host a StreetPass event during a comicon here locally so we'll see how that goes.. also keep hold of that 3DS system you have... if it isnt the only one you got i would store it somewhere safe!

Being from a small town, I neeeeever got any streetpasses even when it was new/popular. It was really only "fun" for people from big cities or people with friends who had a 3DS, I guess. Even on the rare occasion I got to (/had to) visit the city, I'd get maybe 5, tops. I'm amazed you actually managed to find another human being carrying their 3DS around in 2024, lol. I haven't even touched mine in months. Probably over a year, even? Still, I do hope they bring back this feature on a future console, assuming we get any more easy-to-carry-around handhelds rather than just more Switch-like consoles. Don't get me wrong, I love the Switch, but it's not exactly something people will randomly put in their pocket when going on a walk, lol.

I had so many miis in my streetpass plaza growing up, but that 3ds broke a few years ago and I lost it all. i Still have the console and it still turns on and the screens still work but the top screen is hanging off of the bottom one. Originally I was going to just fix it but decided I'd start over. The Eshop was still up at the time so I got my stuff back, but no streetpass or anything. It was kinda upsetting. But I guess it also gives me a chance to start over, even though I probably won't run into many people. I'll never forget my first ever streetpass though. It was someone whose Mii was dressed up as Link. Anyway, I wish I had gone out more while you were in England. Who knows, maybe I could've run into you and made it into the video. Instead I was stuck at home with a bunch of school work to get done😭Oh well, I'm glad you enjoyed you're time in England and I enjoy watching this streetpass vlogs

I went to one of the bigger towns in my country for a day. I walked around quite a lot and didnt get a streetpass :( i think this was one of the most fun thing about the 3ds. I remember going on vacation and on the highway i met a kid that was playing 3ds in the car that passed our car xD

my friends and i have actually ran into quite a few people with street pass even after the servers shut down, i think since it died and since the news was so big that it revived the console in a way.

I got a streetpass 2 months ago in istanbul which was SUPER shocking cuz ive been bringing my 3ds everywhere for close to a year and didnt get any (not even in the huge new istanbul airport!) the trick was to pass by a japanese tour group in eminönü i guess

I carry my 3DS with me whenever I leave the house but, I keep it on to collect play coins mostly. The only time I’ve gotten a Streetpass was when I waited in line to pick up my copy of Tears of the Kingdom - that was a year ago 😢

The tomadachi life visitor (or their creator) will still end up in your mii plaza if you have invites turned on in the mii plaza settings, but the downside to that is you cant get a puzzle piece or use mii at all
