Me too, at 42; totally natural not even single medication, just supplements, very very good diet (fresh, home made, natural), daily hour walk, good sleep, not a chemical whatsoever (not even lip gloss) nothing! basal temperature control for ovulation day, checking the fallopian tubes, checked the thyroid levels, yoga, supplements (in my case, vitex, magnesium,. vitamin D, vitamin C, ), green tea (not coffee, no milk); no sugar in any form; also used Pressed as it aids the sperm to travel; and of course, not watching toxic TV programs that create anxiety and distraction; just fully focus 24/7 on me and my baby. And after 3 long taught years, I got my super healthy baby!😍 I also know that PRP, DHEA, Q10 Ubiquionol, L-arginine, and bromelain help to get pregnancy but you have to contact a good non conventional mainstream doctor to work on that. Every woman case is different. I am not a doctor. Just sharing my knowlege and experience. There is hope. Don't ever ever give up regardless of what your conventional doctor says. Don't give up!!!!😘😘😘😘
What I found most useful from this video is the comfort in knowing that AMH is not the be-all-end-all number our OB/GYN would have us believe it is. My AMH had a precipitous decline across the span of a year, and this was so demoralizing after 4+ years of ttc. Thank you, Dr Sklar, for the simplicity and clarity of your explanations. As a member of your HOPE fertility program, I am especially grateful for yours and the wisdom of the women with whom I traverse this journey.
I am 30 years old. My AMH was 0.15. Terrifyingly small number for my age. I have a very healthy lifestyle. Lots of fruits and vegetables, good sleep and regular exercise. Stress is on and off. I used Nuva Ring for a long time and went off of it a couple of weeks ago. I’m praying it has to do with that and will fix itself soon.
exact same boat, first test came back as .16 , second was at .2, just turned 31 a few weeks ago. very healthy lifestyle. not drinking, no smoking, regular exercise, healthy weight, good sleep. I think some things just can't be controlled
@@spicybeefsalad Thanks for sharing that. That's a healthy way to think of it. yeah, letting go of control is not easy for me and trying not to blame myself. Guess I just always thought I'd wait to start a family until I was older and now it seems like it's now or never. I'm about to be 31 at the end of the month and single. Thinking of trying IUI. Honestly, I'm struggling with it. Dealing. Just not entirely well.
maybe you should think about freezing your eggs? if you're single you could do that and save them for when you're ready. I understand it's not ideal, I also wanted to wait but our fertility doctor said it's now or never @@StilljustHelen
Amh ❤ iam 31 and my AMH is 0.04 when i tested around 6 months ago and i have adapted some life style changes according to your advices and previous videos dr. I am praying to have my first baby conceived naturally very soon ♥️🙏 I am so great full to know you dr your videos gives me hope
Hello Dr Marc. I was told my AMH (47 as per UK) was good for my age and the hormone tests were normal. Had the tubes flushed. Still not conceived at age 39. Have secondary infertility (child is almost 10 now). Improved my eating alot lost weight and cut down on caffeine. Have been offered clomid.
AMH. Thanks for sharing this value information. I love point number 1, we all know which of life areas does need improvement but delaying in taking action for eg weight management in my case...I love all the described points 😍
Amh. My Amh is 0.32 at age 32. I retested it after 3 months and it’s even lower at 0.28. I don’t know why this happened to me. What it translated for me is that I only had 3 eggs retrieved during egg retrieval, only one made it to blastocyst. I am a poor responder for IVF medication. Natural IVF might be better for me since I only have one egg with classic IVF. Let’s see how implantation will go. I do stress a lot in my real life, went to a hard university where I had a lot of unslept nights..a lot. Then worked.. I am also afraid I might have an autoimmune condition l, but the infertility specialist doesn’t reccomend anything outside the standard protocol..so I don’t know where to start.
Please consider Mini IVF, which is minimal stimulation IVF protocol. Dr. Sklar recommended it to me. High doses of injections hurt the quality of the eggs. There are a couple of clinics in the US which are specialized in mini IVF, not every clinic that offers it knows in depth the intricacies of the procedure. Also, you're still very young, so there are ways for you to improve the quality of your eggs naturally. Consider signing up for Dr. Sklar's program! I am in it and it has helped me tremendously. 😊
@@MarcSklarTheFertilityExpert I am considering it. In January I'll have my first embryo transfer, and let's see. I've also read a lot about Mini IVF and natural IVF....
Dear A P, you are not alone. I know how it hurts but it isn't the end of the world. Do your best, but if the things don't work, you could have children with different ways. First of all is you.
Thankyou for giving us ray of hope, very useful video, thanks a lot . I will work on areas told by u. Yes we want more information on AMH. Thanks n Regards
i always love watching your videos. my ahm is great and going under the ivf soon and trying my best to eat balanced diet. thank you for amazing videos Mark, you are star
@@MarcSklarTheFertilityExpert Thank you. Mild ivf and 4 eggs collected and 3 fertilized with icsi. Day 3 embryo went in with 7 cells. Only hoping the best. There is hope, no doubt. I must be sussesful. You are amazing fertility couch, keep it up, i always love watching your videos. Xxx
Hi from New Zealand 😊 I have an almost 2 year old son and have had two back to back early losses recently. But all testing has come back clear apart from my AMH which came back as 0.58 or 3.8 , which I believe is low for my age ( I am 38 this November) However with all three of my pregnancies we have conceived first cycle trying, ie: we have conceived every time we have purposely tried to get pregnant so my AMH hasn't impacted my ability to fall pregnant we have just had issues with the pregnancy sticking these past two times but I am very hopeful for another successful pregnancy soon 🙏
As I touch on in this video, AMH can fluctuate. I think it would be best to focus on helping you stay pregnant. Hoping for natural conception for you as well!
Doctor can you tell us why AMH can be lower in young age?? My sister had AMH 0.02 at age 32 and now she has 4 children naturaly My amh is 0.59 and I'm at 29 years old, is that a family problem?? No one in my family didn't had children
All studies show amh levels doesn't reflect chance of getting pregnant naturally in the next yr. It only seems to matter for IVF/egg retrieval - I don't know why it matters more for that.
I’m 32 & my AMH is 1.2. All my other tests are normal. My husband’s are also normal.I do get pelvic pain during particular times of the month. I have been trying for 1.5 years with no luck. My diet isn’t the best so I think I need to eat healthier & take vitamins to help with conception. Should I consider IVF now or try naturally for longer? I am so fixated on this AMH number. Thank you for this video 🙏🏼

Thank you Doctor for the education for people's like us who have Low AMH, i am from Indonesia, my AMH is 0.26 at 2023 and i am 36 years old now, i have 1 daughter before, now she's 12years old, i am so sad b'cause come in to secondary infertility, i had try to IVF but it canceled at the middle of time stimulation b'cause the follicle is not growth as well as hope
Hi doc, thank for sharing this video is so helpful to me today the doctor told me my Amh level, is 0.22 ,having Endometriosis, uterine polyps and Firbrod of 4cm me and my partner need a baby any tips to help or not possible age 43 Thnks
LOL what you and that lady considered as low are still higher than mine. Depressing. Also in Europe we use pmol/l so mine was 8.5 when I was able to retrieve only 1 egg for IVF. And that egg was average, lasted until day 6 before it stopped developing so I couldn't even do a transfer. Dr. Sklar, next time if that happens again should I transfer on day 3? Thank you so much for your response Dr.
If the embryo stops growing in the lab on Day 6, it will certainly stop growing in your uterus too, even if transferred earlier. You want to make sure your embryo is developing normally and is genetically normal, to have the highest chance of implantation.
@@MarcSklarTheFertilityExpert Oh really? Wow. My doctor keeps refusing saying it would be like going backwards in what we know now works and that it would have less chance of implanting. So we agreed on a natural IVF instead to perhaps keep my FSH low. What do you think?
Im 27 years old and I just got my AMH results back - it was 15 (pmol/L). We have not been trying to concieve yet. I have a hormonal IUD - can this cause this relativly low AMH?
Hello doc I’m Chadia . I’ve been going to a fertility doc with my husband and I did all my test which all my tube were open and every other test were good expect i had a normal low Amh of 1.2 how the treatment that the doctor suggested was IUi from your knowledge would you think that would be the best treatment for my husband and I
I live in northern Virginia,I am 45 years old with AMH 0,41 and FSH was 12 but after two months ( eating healthy food, and far of stress, and having Coq10, and prenatal vitamin, and vitamin D,E,C) I checked FSH in 6 days of my circle and it was 7 , do you think that a good sign that the quality of my eggs got better? And please guys if someone know any best fertility clinic in northern Virginia? Because the one I went to they don't have a good service ,and they care about money more than patient health!!! Thanks 🙏🙏🙏
Day 3 cycle labs = AMH low at .41. I am 34 years old. My FSH is 6.8. Doc said the FSH is excellent. Any tips on increasing then AMH? I have just changed my diet, losing weight, Decreading inflammation. Any other tips for me?
There's lots that can be done to improve your AMH. I would need more info to guide you, but a next good step could be to chat with my team to see if I'm a fit to coach you.
My amh is 0.42 and I am 28 years.. trying for the first baby since 4 years. My prolactin is 36. The doctor says clomid and letroz can be a reason for it to go this low. I am on ayurvedic treatment right now. Any tips to further work on it
Hi doctor I'm 41 my AMH is very low it's 0.20and i have a myoma and cyst left ovary Myoma measuring 40.2*29mm seen in the interior wall abutting into the endometrial cavity Cyst measuring 25*18 mm seen in the left ovary My gynaecologist have given me medicine it's folvite tablet's and M tone syrup she had told me to take thyroid medicine eltroxin 25 . @@navreetkaur820 my other tests were normal sis. Actually my husband friend from kerala asked us to contact this ayurveda gynecologist as he is good in such low amh cases. They also had same issue and got conceived after taking that doctir medicines. My amh also suddenly went from 1.9 to .4 allopathy doctors asked to do IVF with donor egg. We were not interested. Then we took online consultation from that kerla doctor and send him all our reports. After consultation the hospital people send us medicine thru courier.
@@navreetkaur820 i was bit obese. I did normal walking everyday. Also tht doc send me a diet chart that helps in improving amh. If you want I wil share that hospital details
Can femilon impact the amh level? I am 36, university scholar, married at the age of 35. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism last year after the COVID recovery.. due that I was having heavy periods with bigger clots and to stop periods I was suggested to take femilon by my gynaecologist. Last year the amh was 0.283, this month it came 0.147. Last year my gynaecologist suggested me to take femilon for 3 months and then to take dhea. But I couldn't take dhea and continued femilon as this medicine was available in my university campus. Also I had to go for field study, I couldn't take risk of untimely bleeding during the travel. Now my gynaecologist is not happy, she told me that I have lost the crucial time to conceive naturally and now there is no chance of getting pregnant naturally. *We never tried naturally. Did femilon affected the amh level or it is the age and thyroid issues? Plz suggest.
My feeling is that more importantly you need to find someone who is going to be supportive of you and communicate with you properly about how you can move forward. Your drop in AMH could have happened for many reasons.
