Interesting video but where is the information related to a timber frame house as the title suggest. It does not give any information around the constraint of doing a loft conversion in a timber frame house. For example do you still use steel beams, how do you support those and so one. It spying have been interesting to have more details and see the process.
Lofts can be done in timber frame very similar to any other to be honest. Just needs extra support where normally external brick or block take the weight. With different engineers I’ve done something posts in gable walls supporting the steels and spines and also with long steel spreaders in the gables for supporting steels to sit on.
