My dad is 67 this year he was diagnosed back in his late 20s China as hep b carrier, he has being doing the typical cancer scan on the liver every 6 months for the last 30 years, the results are fine and he was a heavy smoker.

I've hbv since birth. On Entecavir since 2009 because of elevated ALT/AST. Doing yearly ultrasound and 1/2 yearly liver function tests. Entecavir is a miracle drug. I hope current efforts to eliminate HBV like GSK, thervacB succeed

Hi, have you checked RA Factor?, have you check your Vitamin D3 and Calcium level in the body?. Because when hepatitis virus stay for long time in the body there are many issues created what you feeling now. some people have body immune systems attacked itself in the body it is cause auto immune hepatitis. So I would suggest, check RA factor, vitamin D3, Calcium levels and consult with a good doctor /hospital who has good knowledge in chronic hepatitis treatment. I can understand you are in stressed but please don't take more stress because stress is the cause of many health issues. do yoga, or regular exercise , eat healthy diet, think positive, dont take alcohol. You will see your condition will be improved very soon, Stay happy, stay healthy.

@@gohealthwisdom Hi doctor. I have tested and found HBsAg and HBeAg +ve and HBcAg igm -ve. My viral load count is >1 crore. My AST is 55 and ALT is 41.. But my liver size normal in ultra sound scan. Comming to the question, one of my doctor urge me to take anti viral medicines for life time and my other doctor ask me to re do the tests after 3 months and if the values are increasing then we go for medicines. There is no bar how many years a HBV infected people can do live. Still medical science say, a person infected only in HBV and there is neither any other complication nor affected with any multiple virus infected, then patient's condition will be good if they main a healthy lifestyle in that case life will be 25-30 years. If patient is suffering with any complications or affected with any multiple virus infection like HBV+HDV, HBV+HIV, HCV+HBV, HBV+TB in that case patient's condition will be worse. So always maintain a healthy lifestyle and keep a distance from other viral infections.

You asked "will I survive how long" there is no parameter how much time a co-infected patient can survive. that is depend on you, how you can do manage your lifestyle. You are a co-infected chronic career patient. this is very risky for life. Anyway i would suggest don't take alcohol, dont neglect your treatment because both viruses are very complicated you know!. If you physically fit and healthy try to do exercise on regular basis your health will be improved.

There is ni any duration range of minimum and maximum life of chb patient. That is totally depend on your life style and eating habits what you eat and what you drink. If you are very careful of your eating habits means liver will be somehow healthy As per WHO report average age of a chb patient is 25-30 years, if there is a coinfection means hbv+hiv then life would be critical. If you have CHB disease and don't have any complications and you are physically fit then you can work technical jobs there is no any issue. But yes you should not work in any chemical factories that could harm to your liver seriously. Do exercise regularly, eat good food already we have make a video on it. Keep you fit.

@@mulugetamengiste8518 You should keep a distance from chemicals related products, chemicals burning smoke, if not possible wear a mask always when you are on the work. Wash your hand in proper way with soap when you are taking your lunch on the work. Consult with your doctor in every 3-6- months and do as your doctor suggested. ALT, AST, AFP, KFT need to test in every 3 months to monitor liver condition. Don't take alcohol. Liver Fibroscan and Ultrasound required at least in a 6months as per your doctor suggested. So, take care of your liver. Stay happy..stay healthy.

It's not high range. but it seems viral level growing in the blood, you need to do DNA test again after 6 months. Sometimes viral level increased and decreased as per your immune system. But if it is growing continuously you required medications in that case, your doctor will suggest you better what to do then. I would suggest dont do neglect your treatment.

when you provided blood sample for medical test, they do test for mandatory tests like TB, HIV, hepatitis B, C. I hope they found hbv virus in your blood sample. To make confirm again they want to make test for same. Don't worry do that what they required officially.

Sorry to listen about your brother. But as you mentioned your viral load is 40 and the dna is in-active mode, that's a good news for you. But what is the condition of your ALT/AST and fibroscan/usg report. I would suggest, don't give stress to your liver with unnecessary junk , heavy or oily foods. If possible try to walk speedily in park or open space at least 3-4 km per day weekly thrice in week. Eat more fruits and veg, dont take alcohol so that these things are will help to strong your immunity.

But there is a co-infection like some one infected in hepatitis A and B virus or hepatitis B or C then life span would be very short and complicated. Hi doctor. I have tested and found HBsAg and HBeAg +ve and HBcAg igm -ve. My viral load count is >1 crore. My AST is 55 and ALT is 41.. But my liver size normal in ultra sound scan. Comming to the question, one of my doctor urge me to take anti viral medicines for life time and my other doctor ask me to re do the tests after 3 months and if the values are increasing then we go for medicines. Pls help me and confirm whether me in danger or not. Looking for a hope.

Yes Other doctors told you may be right, because this virus level always increases and decreases as per responding your immune system. As per your report, high viral level and slightly elevated ALT level could harm your liver. So be careful in this situation don't take alcohol. Anti-viral medication no need to take lifetime, but yes you need to take until your DNA is negative.

@@bhaibhatti024 bro of course if we take antivirals, load will definitely drop but the issue is we can't stop medicine in between as virus may become mutant if it's come back.. Also till 10 months before I've been donating my blood and i checked with my last bank they said it was screened with elisa method and I'm negative to HBV which means im unaffected till last year. So i doubt it could be a recent infection so give a try.. I hv checked my liver and it is perfectly fine so I'm taking a wait for 3 months before starting medication and trying naturally to suppress the virus.
