Okay, you tried! I haven't attempted this so I cannot be critical or helpful in any way. All the channels I've watched make hollow rubber frogs were in a foreign language using product I'm unfamiliar with. So I was left pretty much clueless to what was going on, except, carve, dip, peel, paint. What you did end up with is an amazing topwater frog lure, so this was still worth the watch. It sits "eyes out" just like it should. Great job! Excited to see this next lure! 😃
@@Second_Shift_Bait_Company I've watched videos about making fishing lures during my lunch break for over 4 years now, and have seen thousands. Like I mentioned, most of these are foreign to me, so the titles are in Taiwanese or something. I have no way of remembering or searching for them. But yes, they would dip the master in a colored rubber, like green a few times, then white several times. After the rubber hardened, they would turn the lure body inside-out as it was removed from the wooden mold. I was amazed at how stretchable that rubber was to be pulled over the mold through such a small hole without tearing! Then they would paint details. I wish I could help with the tag.
I've done these before, it needs more than one coat of latex for sure but I'm not certain the latex you used was the same kind as over here. This is the standard way to make hollow body frogs here in Thailand and SEA and the details and styles they make are insane. If you look into it I'm sure you'll have a successful frog.

@Second_Shift_Bait_Company that would be cool, another thing I like to do is pick a soft plastic bait and then make a wood body to combine with it and basically make a hybrid half soft plastic half hard bait
