They don't speak French in Sierra Leone...they speak English And Sierra Leone was originally named by the Portuguese. They named it Serra Lyoa, which means Lion Mountains (referring to the mountains around Freetown). As English sailors arrived, they called the place "Sierra Leoa", a derivative of the Portuguese name. Then when it became a Crown Colony, the last name was a misspelled version of the Spanish name, Sierra Leona, modified to Sierra Leone, still meaning Lion Mountains. For me the most fun part of these videos is watching Jack learn by making mistakes. I wish Jack had kept more failed runs in the video, even if it makes it longer. The ending didn't feel as rewarding imo because we didn't see Jack struggle as much as with the others.

Thanks for the video & name of the game. After hours of contemplating on African countries & flags, I could finally test myself and I didn't do that great still it is okay. I dont think anyone can memorise African flags except a pre fed computer (just my opinion). I have memorized many Asians flags but Africa is not at all do-able. Hey Jack, "repcongo" is an acceptable abbreviation of Republic of the Congo, and "Ivory Coast" is the English spelling of Côte d'Ivoire. Hope that helps! Great job so far😁

Believe it or not I had a dream last night where I did exactly this quiz, as in went across the map and named every country in Africa, and I got most of it right. Of course the hard part is down the west coast from Morocco to the Congos, with all the Guineas and other G-countries in between. From north to south it goes like this: Mauritania - Senegal - The Gambia - Guinea-Bissau - Guinea - Sierra Leone - Liberia - Ivory Coast - Ghana - Togo - Benin - Nigeria - Cameroon - Equatorial Guinea - Gabon - RC/DRC. After that it gets quite easy, although some people get mixed up with Rwanda/Burundi and Djibouti/Eritrea. Everything else is just big distinguishable chunks, although I still have to remember that from left to right it is M-N-C (Mali-Niger-Chad).
