9 months after winter training began, the Olympic 200m trials are now upon us! However, a recent hamstring injury has threatened to end my Olympic dream before I even have chance to race at the trials. After making some initial recovery, I have just 10 days left to make a full recovery and return to 100% speed before I race at the British Championships/Olympic trials. The plan is to gradually increase my sprint speed and intensity session by session, before completing a speed fitness test to see if I'm ready.
The next 10 days are going to be the most crucial moments of the entire journey so far... The pressure is on and the clock is ticking, so I have to step up to the mark and make every session count, let's make it happen!
