Hey mate. I use to run a sub 22 ( from what i remember my fastest 200m was 21.70 ) when i was 14. I'm 33 now, but looking to compete again for fun and because i love the benefits of sprint training. People like you are inspirations for me.
That’s an amazing time! Sprint training is one of the best ways to become athletic and in my opinion achieve peak performance, I’m glad you take inspiration from the videos!🙏🏼
Great video. Distance runners can sometimes battle through the odd niggle, but when you're competing at your level, with the amount of stress on the body, any little fault can be potentially disastrous. Will be interested to see what sprinters do through the winter months.
For sure with the sprints there’s too much force going through the body to run through these things without making it worse, so had to make the call. Resting up and ready to get back to it!
