I am excited to read Jack's Boys by John Katzenbach it just sounds so good What's is about :- Five serial killers ... Known only to each other as: Alpha. Bravo. Charlie. Delta. Easy. Connected through a secure internet location, encrypted and concealed, a unique chat room they have named Jack's Special Place in homage to their ultimate model--the one killer they hold in the highest esteem: Whitechapel, London. 1888. The infamous murderer remembered in dark history as Jack the Ripper. And so, they are Jack's Boys. They delight in each other's crimes. They relish in taunting police around the world with odd clues and deep confusion--the modern version of the Victorian-era killer they emulate. While the original Jack sent letters to Fleet Street papers, they send pictures and online boasts and insults. In this fashion, they feed on each other's killings, a private community of death. Arrogant. Conceited. Untouchable. Or so they thought. Until one day they are hacked. Two teenagers, lying on their bed at home. Boyfriend and girlfriend. Ooooo it sounds like you've got some good books in the lineup for next month. I've reactivated my Kindle Unlimited subscription so I can read a heap that you've recommended that are on KU. So far I've been binge-reading the Ice Planet Barbarian series. On book 7 and starting to flag. I think i'll drop them for a while. They're all very much the same storyline, and I've even noticed some of the scenarios are rinse-and-repeat from earlier books, which is getting boring. Some of your recs sound amazing though! I've got Flames of Chaos, so I might delve into that, I am also thinking I'll switch to the Blood Mercy series as they're all on KU. 😊

I Had great plans to romatasy in the summer but then i fell into my cozy fantsay error!!!

Looks like you're going to have a packed and fun reading month! I'm also participating in Tarot Readathon so I don't know what I'll be reading yet. But I will be finding a way to read both Lords of Uncreation by Adrian Tchaikovsky (I am loving this space opera trilogy so far and I have to see how it ends) and Incidents Around the House by Josh Malerman (every horror writer I like has been talking it up for months)!

The Minders sounds so fascinating!!! I read The One earlier this year, I just love sci-fi thrillers!

I'm doing Summerween in just over a week (so thrillers and horrors yay!), but I have been in a romantasy mood! I'm currently listening to Heart of the Sun Warrior and physically reading Throne of the Fallen (which I am enjoying despite DNFing The Kingdom of the Wicked series after the first book). While not strictly romantasy, I also just finished The Cruel Prince (for the first time) and I was obsessed!!! Behind on the times for sure. I'm going to continue in August for sure!!!
