Like, this isn't a spanking new machine, it's later in the war and the vehicle has seen combat and been pieced together with whatever was at hand. It's going to be a really interesting piece when it's done, looking forward to seeing the upcoming steps!

Ok so the tank was originally panzer grey, then back to the factory for zimmerit and a coat of dunkelgelb over the top, and then, presumably after some time in the field again, it was painted green in the field. It's a cool visual story but I think that the green paint shouldn't be present *only* on the zimmerit, but there should be patches of green on the panzer grey as well. Those are the places where the zimmerit crumbled _before_ the green paint was applied, as the way it sits now there would have been no damage at all to the zimmerit between the point where it was painted dunkelgelb at the factory and the point where it was painted green in the field. But anyway it's not like I could do better lol

I think, the fact that you are basing so much of the way you paint this Tiger on the thoughts about its (potential) history and the things that it has been through, gives it a lot of character, and that alone makes it exceptionally beautiful. I'm looking forward to see what else will come :)

FYI KIds... MAKE-UP/COSMETIC Supply Stores {i.e. Sponges, brushes etc.} are a VERY GOOD source for those supplies and tend to be Cheap and Plentiful! I go about twice a year to get those "Supplies" and the place I go, the ladies all know me and always smile when I come in. :D

damn and I was following up really well with this kit building a panther, and then everything went to hell with the tracks. Really love what you did though with those oils, it really is a cheat where, the more you work with them you just make it better

Simurit , not sure how you spell it, it’s clearly hard surfacing, just surface welds used in heavy construction to armour ware surfaces on buckets and blades. You probably know that anyway?

Hey Nightshift? Could you explain why the tracks look so weird in the photos, I searched up F13 Tiger and saw the the middle section of the Tracks were drooping very heavily exposing quite a bit of the chassis and overall making it look a lot taller. Not sure whether you mentioned it in the previous video but it's quite a strange detail (also will you be implementing it in the model?).

Controversial opinion, but I think this Tiger looks the most Tiger of any Tiger I've seen, and I dont know why, but its definitely good. I was also wondering if the next time you do Zimmerit you might try your hand at the infamous Waffle Pattern? a worthy challenge I think.

Martin, I try to turn everyone on to VMS products - they work really well. They freak me out because it's weird, but I've been surprised everytime. Their photo etch CA glues are my mainstay, the decal solution is super hot and melts decals great. Clean slate remover was like magic. I haven't used everything, just what I have troubles with (photo etch). I think Uschi Vanderosten has a solution that is supposed to cut down on the dry time for oils, but I think it's just a medium that's available to artists called Liquin. I use Liquin for my oils.

this blueish strange thing to make oil dry faster possibly is the so called cobalt dryer for oil paints. used to paint oil pictures...looks just like a bottle I have here somewhere that is older than I, like... decade older than I. And I am not exactly young...

Opinion for your consideration. German military vehicles in front line service did not live long enough to get used hard and beat up very much. I tjink the zimmerit peeling is excessive. But your skills are amazing. Well done

Hey. What about oil dost on three color German camouflage ? Will this colors which You use will be ok?

I am probably wrong, since you tend to be very thorough with your research, but somehow I feel there should be more difference between yellow and green, and grey should be way less saturated because dust and sun tend to to do that. As an idea, you can make a black and white photo of your model and compare it to the original ones to determine if your colour saturation is on point.
