I have lived in California my whole life, my mother worked for Kamala while working as a legal analyst at the Attorney general's office! I have lived in California and I have managed to never be locked up, if you are a criminal you deserve to get locked up, we've had 3 strikes for a long time in cali... if you didn't want to be sent up north on a charge do right... crying about being locked up for breaking the law is nasty work!!
@@amaris7619 Yes Kamala was down for that three strike law.. because it was a law written for black people ,crack was strong back then , destroy a whole lot of families .. there were no drugs rehabilitation facilities for black peoples, so they took to locking them up.

As a black woman, I can say the following, in our community we are too caught up in comparing what happens in the white community and how things are done there instead of focusing on the elimination of crime in our community. Let the black community take care of its community and let the other communities take care of themselves.
The State Attorney would not personally be involved in low level drug arrests. What I find interesting is that no one is saying the people locked up were innocent.

Hey Rodney! I absolutely loved this video. Yes, Kamala signed a bill, and some of our men were locked up. However, many of them were guilty! Also, please understand that they're signing bills and passing laws that are a lot more detailed than we know. Oftentimes, we overreact to what was passed. We go off when Article 5, section 3, was passed but have not read the other 300 pages that are attached to that legislation piece. Those bills are very long and extensive. It's not just cut and dry or as simple as we think. There are lots of stipulations that go into making something law. Please just do the research before we condemn our black lawmakers.
Concerning the DMV - best to stay in a hotel close to the subway or main roads. That would be Greenbelt, Maryland close to the Greenbelt subway and it’s close to 295 freeway for uber, that’s leads directly to DC. Or stay in Silver Spring that has a subway and main roads down to DC. Northern Virginia may be too expensive. The closest Maryland cities to DC are Hyattsville, Silver Spring, Greenbelt, and College Park, and they all have subway stops and main roads into DC.
Because of our elders struggle a lot of us have become privilege minded too. The black people should remind children of the past, so we don’t ever give up the fight to stay forward.
When Hillary was running for president a reporter was interviewing people in rural areas around America. In one place some yt man said he'd vote for mickey mouse before he'd vote for Hillary. That told me all I needed to know about how some yt people, especially yt men, think about politics. It's very much about identity.
