I was expecting you to do a quick in and out and assassinate Gortash and run away. I did not expect that you would murder every single being in the coronation solo. Truly, you are the greatest of all time.
I was thinking I was the only one who tried this kind of shit lol. I cheesed mine fight more than she did though cause i pushed the watched off the castle edge and she just straight up merced them lol
Watching this happen in real time as the NPC would be terrifying, its like watching superman destroy all the most powerful people youve ever seen in like 30 seconds lol
But she cheesed it alright with full Illithid and monk powers. You can do this with both berserk and hand crossbow builds as well. With berserk build you may not need even Illithid powers as 27 str is enough to jump across the map.
@@jeremyblack1929 Both agree and disagree, some mechanics are so broken it could be considered as cheesing. For example you can stay in balcony and throw everybody down one by one.

Did you know that in every camp there is a place where if your character stands, vocals with the words of this song will automatically join the background music on the fly. An example from the first act is the rock behind Astarion's tent. When moving from the second to the third act, the first “transition” camp is on the mountain. There is a ledge with bushes that offers a beautiful view of Baldur's Gate in the distance. Stay with the character just listening to the background music. By the way, the vocals are awesome.
Incredible fight (and run altogether), I never thought monk could be so busted ! Gotta level one up now. Congratulations and keep up with the content, it's great and you have such a positive vibe it's contagious !
This was the most challenging fight I did on my first playthrough. Went in the game as a DnD player with an RP mindset of a Chaotic Good Sorcerer that could have doubled as oath of vengeance paladin from personality. So I attacked Gortash on sight. I enjoyed the difficulty of it while still being "doable" if you like challenges it's probably the best fight not to cheese.
wow AMAZING! - you play this game damn good - loved to watch the fight - thank u for the video. I also thought it is impossible... but u teached me other ...
Descobri a pouco que vc é brasileira.. Parabens pelo sucesso, trabalho e criatividade nessa obra prima que é o BG3.. só digo uma coisa.. "high five" rssss
I did Coronation Gortash yesterday, with 10 lvl party, Tactician, and we weren't out of a full rest. BUT it was 4 people, and we killed Gortash, Lord and a couple humanoids, then 3 died and one fled to camp. I thought THAT was a crazy accomplishment. Then I checked Luality doing it solo (albeit I think it's lvl 12 right?). Lua you are INSANELY good at this!!! What in the Avernus! A proper DnD MinMax Queen :D
I did something similar on my first playthru, just went up one of those pillars cast darkness and then pulled the fucker up to me with telekinesis. NPCs are brain dead when darkness is up and if you have devil sight you have advantage on everything it makes the game trivial even this fight actually especially this fight since all you have to do is destroy the ladder and nobody can target you or jump to you but you can thanks to devil sight so yeah this is def possible lol.
Then there's me who had to change the difficulty to easy because the fights leading up to ketheric were way too hard I learnt a lot from the video tho! If it's possible 1vsarmy then it's possibly 4vsarmy :pp
Great video ! Could you make one explaining your class/stuff/build ? I don't deal near as much damage as you do and I have a whole party with me. Also I am in balanced mode and still struggling :D
She used monk abilities so she is a monk. The one hand subclass. I dont know if its a multiclass of monk + other class or just monk. Maybe a wizard also because she can fly.
I'm pretty sure this is not the expected way at all. I'm like 90% sure they expect you to walk away, disable the robots, then come back and fight him without them.
"Pretty sure"? :))) Yeah, it goes without saying that you are NOT supposed to kill him at his coronation, you're supposed to just have a chat there, then disable the Steel Watch and then fight him in his office where there are just 2-3 sorcerers with him and ZERO Steel Watch. 99.9% of the players can't do what she did in this video.
Great fight. I did this as well. Using Wall of Stone + Lightning bolt, you can wall yourself in a hall and just BLAST through and the Lightning wont destroy your wall. You will still need to kite around at some point, but it helped a lot XD
what an incredible power... I thought I should be afraid of the Gortash with the iron guard, but now I understand who the absolute... indestructible... but sweet evil is ;)
This gave the idea of trying to solo this using 8 sorcerer 2 wiz and 2 cleric. Create water + double chain lighting + chanel divinity should do quick work of these steel watchers (need to test it tho)
In my current solo tactician monk playthrough I use a strat where Dark Urge cape gives me invis (remember: cape can only give you invis once per turn), I burst one guy and move out of the way for enemies to not find me, After they lose me I get 2 turn invis, first I just stand and wait for the time-stop mode (Shift+Space) because you need to wait 1 turn after the fight is done, then in time-stop I just hit someone again and get enemies ambushed, I don't want to kill the guy I attacked in first turn because if I do, enemies will be ambushed for 1 turn and second turn they will look for me, and by the time that comes, the invis will be gone and I will most likely not get an opportunity to ambush again. So after everyone gets their turn skip, I burst the guy to death, rinse and repeat, most of time not even using any Ki points and obviously loosing health. You can get the Dark Urge cape almost 10 minutes into the game and monk can burst down most of enemies in 1.5 turns without Ki points from lvl one. This cheesy strat is so pathetic like my noob ass, but that might be the strat for solo Honour mode, no illithid power, no explosives (mb for Myrkul, since you cant be both Gale and Dark Urge). And now I see this video where she gets lethargic and blurs 2 round through because everyone misses and flies around only using walk distance to dominate 1000 people in one go, Im really pathetic.
It took me 10 hours to do this fight without killing Duke Ravengard. Killing Gortash was the easy part, you can just burn him down with Potion of Speed, but fighting the steel watchers took so long! I climbed on top of the platforms on the side, and cast Darkness, and it made most of the npcs skip their turns, cause they dont want to jump up into the Darkness.
ok, now i really want to make an investigation type DnD game where bhaalists are gonna be investigated just for the guards to ask the PCs "are you gonna play bhaal with us?" its a need now
Yeah, the gameplay might be insane, but im only here for the bunny at the end. Impressive fight. First try, no cheese. Steelwatch stuck on high ground helped, but with this amount of enemies, having only two get stuck is actually very little.
just found her couple days ago and have to say 400 iq gameplay here... didnt think anyone plays like this... really thought i am good in the game but she is on another level...
Monk is so powerful lmao it like has a weird curve where it starts slow, rapidly ramps up, grows much slower and doesnt get much armor for it and then in act 3 it just goes ham
ehhh, no, and that makes this so much more impressive. Monk is pretty weak, but this game buffs it a ton by giving them a lot of helpful items. Casters at this level could do this easily, and a pallock could do the same.
A good and interesting fight. Still, I'm having trouble understanding what I'm seeing. My experience with this on tactician was very different. All my characters had 20+ AC, yet the mobs were more often than not landing hits for 30+ damage. It seems you're seldom hit and when you are, the damage is quite manageable. On my very first attempt, I rolled bad initiatives and got literally wiped on a level 10 party before I got my first action. I only won when I pulled from outside the throne room and kited them to the roof. I guess I'll have to watch it again and try to understand what's at play here.
I went to the coronation and waited thru the whole speech and whatnot, I progressed and eventually came back to find all the other nobles and their guards slaughtered in the coronation room....
yes he kills them all after the coronation so the only way they are saved is if you kill him right then and there alongside his robots so that they all run away instead ;D
It’s 3 levels of rogue to subclass into thief for the additional bonus action than all the other levels monk. She also using all the illicit parasite upgrades and has the superior tadpole which lets her fly
@@Decke_t That makes sense, The bonus action would be massive with flurry of blows, and I guess so is the ability to disengage as a bonus with flight. It's really impressive anyway, probably the best gameplay I've seen
@@jakemills7835 the build also uses the tavern brawler feat and elixirs of strength. Once you get to level 4. Tavern brawler with the elixirs gives you a plus 10 with unarmed strikes and you can dump strength and up dex and wisdom for unarmed defense.
I'm not saying there's no possible build in the game complicated enough to warrant making a whole video about it... but I am saying that there's no build in the came complicated enough that you couldn't just post it in text for a tiny fraction of the time and effort on both the writer and the reader.
I fought him in his private room and disabled his traps before hand and took out his guard before he came to the room , fight wasn't to bad and was quick for me, he didn't have no shield or nothing to protect him
