I started drinking alcohol years ago as a teenage, spent my whole life fighting alcohol addiction. Got diagnosed with cptsd. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.

I felt that beer run lmao. During my alcoholism era id walk 4 miles daily to get my 1.7L of vodka every day for a few years 😭😭😭. Hungover and half drunk walks in bad weather are the worst 😭😂. So glad I don’t have to make those walks anymore 😆

Went to Benidorm on a mini break for 5 days and we all agreed to survive 5 days on nothing but alcohol. It was a breeze! Although I did have youth on my side! You did well there Callum I was glad to see you drinking water on the last day tbh even if it meant you didn't make the 72h I imagine you felt absolutely awful - I usually drink 3 or 4 pints of water throughout the night if I'm having a lot to drink and then a pint before bed with one of the hydration packets in if I have any. I enjoy a drink but what alcohol does to your body is gross if you think about it isnt it. Look forward to more challenges though hopefully ones that dont make you feel as shit!

Hunger is nothing, compared to thirst and dehydration - there is a reason that we can survive without food for weeks, but without water only a few days... been doing this for years, I hate it, can't stop and i'm killing myself more and more everyday. But it is the only way to stop the shakes and intense anxiety. But in reference to your video, I drink beer everyday but started properly with Vodka. No one will read this and I will be gone soon. Don't even know why I am typing this. I used to do this routinely as a young adult from Friday to Sunday. Not really "hard" to do when you are young, have an active social life, and like to party. But now that I'm 29, I can only drink 1-2 once a week or every other week or else it ruins my weekend
