Running through the streets, chased by zombies, out of the corner of your eye in a house full of zombies you notice the TV and think 'huh so thats how you make pizza', I love zomboid.
What's more amazing is how before the fighting, the environment was pristine. It's like you found a peaceful zombie sanctuary or nature reserve, but then Chester invaded after getting bored of the trailer park.
I love tvat he does bring back characters for various challenges. Also my head canon is that after Chester got away from the trailer park he headed for the coast and found the ship.
Ayo it's wild seeing the Romero swarming with zombies instead of players. My friend made this map and I sent the video to her so she can hear all the compliments. :)
gotta say, Chester is a bold man, not for taking on a cruise ships worth of zombie, but because he chose to wear those shorts (he's definately rocking them though)
I vote that you secure the entire bow / garden section. If you find or make a woodcutting axe, you can make tall walls and choke points where the gates should be. Then you can construct whatever you want while being master of the gardens. The trees are as many planks as you will ever need.
@@everythingsalright1121 if we makin' quotes... "And when he gets to heaven, to st. Peter he will tell." "One more soldier reporting sir, I've served my time in hell." Or in this case, one trailerhouse socks-and-flops wearin' badass. I actually don't know where that quote is from by the way, it was the prologue to an old videogame I played.
"These apartments just have too many open and unsecured entrances to base up in, I need something more closed off." *Looks at the Church with a comical amount of vulnerable, ground level windows almost guaranteed to have little to no amentities inside* "Perfect!"
*Doubles the population* 5 minutes later," I wasn't expecting it to be this bad!" 🤣 Anyways this is indeed a very cool map, I hope the creator is proud. It'll be great to see Chester become Captain of this fine vessel one day!
So cool to see Chester return! Also, if Bartholomew ever makes a return, I think it'd be fine for him to lose some of his negative traits that he didn't lose in his series like Smoker, Agoraphobia and Claustrophobia. It seems fair to me that he would've gotten over all three of those things through the course of his challenge. :)
Watching you play while I'm playing jumpscares the hell out of me. Just minding my own business and I hear a window shatter, look around and realize it was just RU-vid lol.
I may not be a master at Project Zomboid like you Lime, but i do know that when in combat, or in general, sound travels through floors very easily, so running or killing 100 zombies on a upper floor will alert zombies below you. Anyways, I can't wait to watch the rest of this challenge! Good luck!
I hope Player-Built Construction Strength is set to very high or indestructible so Chester can slowly wall off pieces of the ship and take it back, section by section. There are so many pathing routes it wouldn't be a trivial thing to achieve, but it would give a way to "win" this scenario.
23:30 I get that there has to be something to balance fence cheese but the fence lunge is single handedly the jankiest mechanic in all of PZ. Like the zombies have a literal AOE attack lol.
wonderful beginning to your new series. A rollercoaster of emotions. Love how quickly you went from "I am in my element" to "I wasn't expecting things to be this bad"
Will there be a chopper event? :) (btw raise your hand if you're playing so much PZ that you're like "oh shitshitshit" for a few seconds when you hear a chopper irl :D)
This looks amazing! The beginning reminded me of a Beavis and Butthead episode, "That boy did so much whackin'. Whackin' in the greenhouse, whackin' in the gazebo, whackin' in the tool shed. I even saw him whackin' in church!"
A massive floating city/cargo ship would be a perfect anti-zombie safe-haven... if the zombie virus wasn't air and water borne. I feel like because the Zomboid virus spreads through both air and water, a Cargo ship is about the worst place you can hole up in for this particular kind of Zombie Apocalypse .
If Chester manages to kill every single zombie... Claudette would be proud Head canon Claudette and Chester meet one day and kill every single zombie in the whole world While at the same time falling in love
Nice to see Lime taking on a simpler challenge this time around. He consistently tries to one up his challenges, which makes sense. But I'm enjoying the calm before the storm.
Cruise ship is one of the most horrifying chapters in WWZ. I can't wait for to see you fight uphill against the horde of undead in this densely infested ship and build cool bases.
The premise of this is quite interesting; the equivalent would be being stuck on Male (which is in the Maldives). Being there during a zombie outbreak in a densely packed 8.3 km² land area would be no joke.
lol... I just started a new game on this same boat with double zombie population a few days ago. Got the Zomboid itch, saw the map and figured I would give it a go. Pretty neat map addition that makes a great location for a base.
After left his home the Trailer Park. Chester want to look for other survivors, Luckily he heard the radio broadcast about a cruiseship full of survivor and they ready to leave Knox County and travel to either Europe or Asia where the virus haven't touch yet. After a long and dangerous journey, Chester manage to get to the ship before it leaving. He finally can rest and enjoy the tropical wind, leaving all the horible memories of the virus behind. Maybe he can help building a settlement for other survivor, open a work shop, live a normal life again....but one day he wake up in middle of the night to a familiar but traumatizing sound.....
we should be able to either reinforce a regular bat with small metal plates to become a metal bat, or craft a entirely new metal bat that has greater health but costs more to craft
Yooo! Chester is back!!! I would love to think that all the other survivors from Pr1vateLime who won't be returning also came here with other civillians but like that one zombie movie one dude was dumb enough to hide a bite and turned and because of the population it spread quickly killing everyone but Chester who was just chugging a beer while it happened, as to how Chester got there. Using his foraging skills he could spot animal tracks more easier and survived by hunting until finding the ship.
I love Project Zomboit, generally all the things like maps, weapons and everything you can do is just awesome. This ship reminds me of the anime Girls and Panzer where the school is filled with other houses on a ship. I recommend the anime if you are bored
Ive been procrastinating catching up on some of your recent series but this idea seems interesting enough that i think ill watch it as it comes out... Still need to finish the metro series though. Now i think I'll go get my dinner to eat as i watch.
Yep, just tested this. Once you turn it into a spiked bat you can repair it with a nail. Granted, it’s only like 2-5% repair per nail you use, but if you’re finding a decent amount of nails, this might be your best option for an easily repaired melee weapon at this stage of the game.
Private lime best zomboid creator of all time. Pros. Good clutch play, learned a lot for my cdda playthrough. Cons, i sleep cause of relaxing voice. 10/10. No homo.
I’d love to play a map like this except that the edges of the boat still have a chance to spawn zombies (like as if they somehow climbed their way onto it from the water) so you have a somewhat infinite source of materials
Dammmnn, Chester can’t catch a break. He went from being trapped in a trailer park to being trapped in a floating city. 😅 Also, thank you for giving Chester shoes. The pink slippers are cute but stepping on glass again is not it.
I like to think that Chester survived the zombie virus at the trailer park, chose to have to have a fresh start/new job on the boat only to face off zombies AGAIN. Poor guy lol
would be cool if they made a waterworld mod for this game where you have to swim under water to loot buildings with risk of drowning... and getting cold... and no guns work under water.. you could just have one small area as a base a yacht or a barge or something.. the sea would get gradually deeper further from the start location so it gets harder & harder to get loot over time.. maybe a few skyscrapers poking out of the top of the water that u could also build a base in
