Is it possible to add more memory or upgrade solid state drive on Huawei MateBook.
This video applies only to 2020 model (BoB-WAI9Q)
This laptop has:
DDR4 RAM: 8GB soldered to motherboard so no upgrade here!
SSD: 256GB NVMe M . 2 PN: MSS1CB04B11MC (Upgradable)
CPU: 10th Gen Intel® Core™ i3-10110U (Soldered to MB)
Graphics: Intel® UHD620 (Soldered to MB)

Looks like they used base of the older model of that laptop so there's a space for 2.5" hard drive but no connection to the motherboard. That's probably good thing because you can fit older motherboard to that laptop... just a theory.. if anyone done it then please let me know.

Not sure if you've had experience with the Intel i5 8gb 512gb ssd model, but if you have, what do you think of its performance for everyday business use and multitasking?

Can play basic games with medium graphic settings, you can open up to 5-10 google tabs which is quite decent. You can easily upgrade the storage and i think it is good for a travel computer. I generally use it for programming which it can handle quite well. Worth buying.

Bro why cant we upgrade the ram???? When the ram gets wrecked or stops working then there should be a way to replace the ram, the same process can be applied to upgrade the current ram right? If not then why?????

Not sure but there must be 16GB version available as well! As for 8GB.. it's not really futureproof.. just windows as OS keeps getting heavier every year!

Unless your laptop has 2.5" HDD or SDD connection to the motherboard! They used older model base for this laptop and that left space for it.. It seems like it's all about money saving for big companies, if they can use old parts and save some money.

You can upgrade m.2 SSD. For 2.5 hard drive there's no connector on the motherboard.

Yes you can. nVME SSD is needed. Recommend to get one of the Samsung ones.

Seems, it is really soldered inside the motheboard, ds-blobs-4.cdn.devapps.ru/28009349.jpg and upgrade is really impossible. Only way is to buy a new motherboard (or entire laptop).
