Iv taken the fiesta st with its TRS performance tuned s280 to my local dyno. I ran stage 2r here so it's a perfect place to come to see the gains.

No load on that dyno at all, your charge temperatures didn't even go up, try an dyno dynamics or something that puts its under stress and see what it does cheers then

Il be on a hub dyno next week but I agree with you. The inlet temps are really good though on the road. Hard pulls and their still close to ambient by a few degrees. But weather isn't hot yet so we will see.

Hotside comes with the turbo. Iv just fitted the cold side today actually.

What fuel are you running Steve? do you know if they do a 97 map? NI is crap for good fuel even our 97 is udder balls. I had my Subaru mapped for it and the tuner said it was "watered down super" LOL. Also with the diff are you able to put the power down ok? I seen you on the previous video having to pull at the steering wheel slightly. I'm thinking it would be a waste without a LSD of some sorts?

Yeh any fuel can be mapped. I have shocking front wheel alignment for the road to be honest so it's an handful but fun. Iv got so much camber and toe it drives sideways over bumps.

It really depends. Their weakness is the cylinder walls crack. Some take loads of abuse and other fail on lower power. Some have made 400bhp but it won't last long i don't think.

Take the numbers with a pinch of salt. It made 266whp and the bhp figure is a little high imo. But I'm on 99 octane.

It's a s280 turbo technics running 1.6bar. I guess most would call It stage 3

That seem low I made 340hp with the x47 and no extra mods colluding boost pipes kits but dose sound good tho

Depends on the dyno really. On another dyno close to me iv seen many x47r only make 280. Unless both cars are tested at the same place its impossible to make a comparison.

@@Sparkplugsteve yes I have seen the x47r low on power and again I have seen more and yes I know every dyno is different but I went to who get certificate every 6 months to say it’s been tested I had Cp Collins with same turbo and mods and when I got st200 then I took all engine bay off and put on new car and then got pumaspeed maxd out map agin 340hp from 296hp

Certified testing of a dyno means nothing really. It only takes a few tweaks with the mouse to make any figure you want to see. Their a very much abused tool to sell tunes unfortunately. In another note I'd have thought for sure your in a s280 judging by your name.? What's going on there. 😁
