Get get the towing springs for the rear and make a legit hitch welded to the frame you might actually be able to haul stuff and move the trailer when needed

Hey this is kind of off subject but I'm looking for a gooseneck soon and I heard if you get a dually tandem like yours and dont have a cdl you can get fined if the right person pulls you over. Being that you now have policing experience do you have any insight to whether this is true? I've talked to several people directly and got answers to this. (These people are in texas but I live in Louisiana) basically even if your trailer is empty you can get fined because it can HOLD over the 15 thousand pound limit or whatever.

Red, White, & Roxor This is true, I have my class A CDL so I have nothing to worry about. But when ordering your trailer. A lot of manufactures will let you “down grade” the GVWR of the trailer. This is very important to request as soon as you order the trailer because after the title is made and the trailer is assigned it’s VIN #. It cannot be changed. Hope this helps.
