You could definitely make the case he was best in the league sometime during that stretch. Maybe Shaq was best in the league until 2003 but 2004-2006 kg was best in the league.

Where did they get that 1-7 in elimination games record? Off the top of my head, I can think of at least 4 elimination game wins for Embiid. 2018 game 4 vs Celtics, 2019 game 6 vs Toronto. 2021 game 6 vs Atlanta, 2024 game 5 vs Knicks.

I'm a Knicks fan and I love the way Maxey plays. He's a star, no doubt! But to say Maxey is at JB level, close maybe, but not at his level...yet. Embiid is a dirty player and the NBA needs to start to monitoring him before he hurts somebody and end their career. Last game he got caught hitting Brunson in the face,also in that game, as he went for a loose ball on the floor you can clearly see he aimed for Divinkinso leg and he never returned to the game. The game before he hit Brunson and OG in the face and got away with it. He pretends he's unaware of his actions and that's harmful.

Let's not forget the 76ers have been in the Playoffs every years for the past 7 years. They have a great team, got super lucky in dumping Ben Simmons and getting a lot in return, had Harden and have failed over and over. This is more about The Knicks for balling out than the 76ers. Randle is out and they still coming. I dont want to hear about Embid being injured. Our All Star is out. You don't hear them talking about that.

First of all stop trying to compare Randles absence with Embiid. Embiid is in another world of greatness in comparison and he is more needed than Randle is for their teams. Now without Brunson that would be difficult. Nothing is impressive about Knicks in this series as they are struggling against two players? Embiid is on one leg and battling a serious illness and Tyrese beat them by himself game 5. What are you so proud of?

Common don't lie. Brunson is still best player in this series. He is amazing,. He doing amazing point guard stuff. James Harden, Doncić don't control ball so good in bad or lost games. Only Jamal Murray doing similar stuff but Murray still isn't on His Prime because health problems. Maxey is amazing regular but as a playmaker He is slightly below expected level for me. Embiil should be in Hospital probably, His health problems maybe even mental fatigue are below "go to work" level but without Him Maxey will not do any surprising results like Brumon and Knicks.
