And somehow managed to keep the self presevation instincts of a toddler. Why does she take her armor off in preparation for battle? Or during an active battle? Or in the void? For someone inspired by Samus Aran, clearly they went with "The Other M" version(its the least liked Metroid game because it went completely off her established character. From someone with a body count measured in entire planets and who uses everything in her arsenal to survive to one who would let herself be killed if not given an authorization to use tech she had on her person already, and takes the fact that the guy authorizing her didnt just let her die as a positive factor. Instead of being pissed that he valued the walls over her life). And I won't stop hating her till they fix her design so that it doesn't undermine the threat of the void, and weaken the story of everyone who interacts with it.
Guys remember that like someone exist named...Kassadin. You know, the void hunter, the one who learned how to fight the void alone without just finding a broken Venom suit but by his pure will and knowledge about artefacts. God i hate that now every heroes of lol are just gifted power they dont do anything to deserve their strengh. Remember the Sentinels ? We have Lucian the man who fought alone the shadow isles for years vs Akshan : He found a ressurecting gun and now is the final hope of the Sentinels.

Bruh, Kaisa fell into the void when she was a baby and make it till here, how doesn't she deserve the strength she has ? Also Kasadin too have some really busted suit (probably the one with the best equipment in the whole world)
If Bel'veth and her event lore in LoL is anything to go by, Kai'sa can not only not stop the invasion, she has her suit take over her. A lil bit. Pretty mean. I can't wait for Kassadin in LoR tho. Gimme that spellshield anti-champion champion!
And then, imagine this: Since Kassadin in LoL gets Empowered by other using theyr Abilities and is able to both Withstand and counter-act onto High Magic Damage Dealing Champions... His whole package idea could be to sweep the tide of battle in his Favor by introducing new ways to directly respond the Opponent's Actions other than Deny-Like Spells that are just about removing and completely nullyfing most things; imagine you have units, spells or even Landmarks that can be used in certain Situations where specific criterias are met, even when they shouldn't normally be playable (Like the Flash Keyword from Magic) that allows to transform something happening (rather than nullifying it completely) into an advantage for your own gain. Then you link this specific aspect of play to Kassadin's ability to Rift Walk by calling the Keyword used for these interactions something like "Rift" or "Blink", "Flash" even, since in LoL we do have Flash as a Summoner Spell and Kassadin's Ability to Warp is pretty similar to that.
For example, imagine a Slow Spell that resembles Kassadin's Energy Blade that empowers a Unit's to increase his Offensive abilities somehow, don't how or what specific Buff it could give.. BUT! The ability possesses the Special Keyword and if Played while your Blocking the Opponent's Attack the unit affected attacks *First* than the Attacker (even if Quick Attack is in question) and does as if the affected unit is the one attacking rather than being the one defending.
Wait, are Void-lings just Tyranids now?? I remember the void being much more mysterious than just "yeah so, there's this otherworldly hivemind that is trying to take over our universe or smth", being in direct conflict with the gods behind creation itself
Yes but it's important to remember that those are only Bel'Veth's voidlings, hers are mindless drones and monsters like tyranids, the big bad watchers and main void beings are still trying to figure out how to destroy all of creation.
Well of course she can easily beat the Void invasion, she just needs to buy statikk shiv and all the Voidlings gets instakilled. She will then proceed to hit one void seeker and put bel'veth on half hp, and she'll then go killer instinct and get a shield, then finish off Bel by nuking her with Icathian Rain. 🗿

I know Kai'sa's lore was made before this became mainstream, but I can't stand the trope of an otherworldly invasion where the main character gets the powers of their invaders to use against them.
It wouldve worked if they emphasized some aspects of Kai'sa's lore. The suit is supposed to be a double edged sword, she has to feed it or it'll eat her instead but Riot had to make her another pretty girl and in a skintight suit to boot.
watchers got nerfed lore wise, nowhere near as strong as they used to be. Now bel'veth is definitely more dangerous because she can evolve, the watchers cannot.

Say what you will about league, the lore when it comes to the void is super interesting and well done. I especially like the idea that bel’veth is the culmination of an entire societys hearts and minds that coalesces into void entity that gains sentience and marches forward with a level of organization that is otherwise unheard of.
Actually Belveth as without apostrophe, if i am not mistaken. Bel'veth is the name of the void assimilated mass of the city, forming a huge ray, and being my second favourite support.:D
Me waiting for a void support that has commander swarm ambitions trying to eat Swain and every strategist to become so good at,well, a commander, just to beat Bel Veth because he doesnt like that he and everything in the void has to do the hardwork and one of them just stays there and reaps the work while also saying she his the queen and supreme commander. Like i dunno seems fitting for the void to have a monster that somehow doesnt like Bel Veth and can escape her control and free others to help him fight her to regain their swarm hive mind to invade as one, because the Void monsters technically evolve and adapt by devouring some stronger beings, like Kha Zix, Cho Gath and Belveth eating the hardwork of every inch of land the Void consumed.
Bel'veth is basically the combined knowledge of everything the Void has ever consumed, and basically *is* the void, so yea, she's hyper intelligent. She named herself after the City of belveth, which is where the core of her new Void is beginning.
Ohh i see a new gamemode. Fr imagine a big as void defense gamemode. Like doom bots but more fucked up and reacting to your champions loadout for example switching stats and or abilities
it's time. that Kai'sa and her Father Kasadin reunite again and their meet Jax, and together gather the other champions of the game, for the final battle. pdta: i hope they remember Vel'koz and the Watchers and they give them more protagonism and background, ESPECIALLY Vel'Koz, and they do not focus entirely on Bel'veth, Please Riot that the same thing as with the Darkin saga and the Xolaani case is not repeated -_-

That image is from the Bel'Veth/Malz teaser, where Bel'veth promised Malz that she would destroy everything on the surface, including the Sun Disc. It was just a vision, not a real event, yet.
Bel'veth was supposed to be my main for life but rather than commit to what she should have been they gave her this weird basic-ass playstyle to, in their own words, "appeal to as much of the playerbase as possible". I'm still playing her out of sheer dedication to the "void mommy" aesthetic but her gameplay sucks and I wish they'd rework her.

Kia'sa doesn't even have the intelligence to keep her void armor on in active combat, let alone in the void, where everything, including the light and air, is bent on your destruction. And she somehow hasn't developed self presevation skills in a decade of fighting for her life, to a point where in the void, where, I must stress, _even inanimate substances like light and air hunger for your death,_ she doesn't even redon her armor WHEN A WALL EXPLODES IN FRONT OF HER RELEASING A FLOOD OF VOID CREATURES! And don't get me started on her developing complicated sentai poses when learning to fight by fights to the death, her counting when the main thing she fights are uncountable hoards of voidlings, or her mysterious british accent which she doesn't share with her father, the void(as hilarious as all void creatures having a british accent would be), or the rest of her continent. If we judge by Kia'sa, the void is vastly overblown as a threat, and everything else that has come into contact with it are just pansies(the ancient sunborn warriors with godlike power fared worse against the void than this child with the fighting sensibility and self presevation skills of a toddler.). I love everything about the void, but I can't get invested in the story because they decided this Power Rangers Super Spy British Barbie was going to be the fulcrum of it rather than the jaded, mentally scarred, half feral survivor her lore tries to sell her as. It makes the fact that they had a design inspired by Samus Aran(one of my favorite characters and exactly the sort of personality that could have sold what they intended Kaisa to be) and they went with _this_ more insulting, because she actively ruins the fraction and stories she is involved with, all because they can't slow down on the rateching up the sex appeal even if it is necessary to deliver a coherent and compelling story. We already have characters like Eve, Ahri, MF, Samira who do everything Kaisa tries to do but better and more fitting for their stories, and half the female case who are needlessly sexy but in a way where it doesn't hurt the story they are trying to tell. Kaisa didn't need to be this by any stretch of the imagination, and yet they forced it in where it would weaken the danger of an existential threat to existence.
I not check it but at last rito games is so slow with lore and ofte use only a handfull to make lore and to give this more lore like gaylas. Maybe this here is something what rito games never will tell us.
