Well... He has slight accent and sometimes messes with the cases, which is common for a foreigners whose prime languages is based on the Latin alphabet, but other than that... Yes, he does.
Yeah, Kazuma is insane. As an American I can also say when I speak Russian with Natives they go crazy. I'm only like an upper A1 moving to A2 but even that level get's crazy responses. I think it's just the surprise of seeing a foreigner speak your language for the first time, even if it's flawed it still gets respect for trying. Having said that I still want to get to a solid B2/C1 level some day!
What impresses me most is his rapid progress when working on so many languages. Checking his videos from a year ago and comparing to his most recent ones.
i haven't found anyone that seems to be as adept at learning languages as kazu. truly a freak. as an aside, your English is actually impeccable. so good.
love it when u make review about kazu language, i also love to watch his channel because he is always stay humble and respect people, by the way i also has subscribed your channel yama, all the best , привет из малаизий, sorry for my spelling, im still learning russian 😇
Was this really necessary? Kazuma speaks, his subjects understand him and are impressed by his ability to communicate. He doesn’t claim to be an expert; instead he says, “I’m learning such and such language.” He doesn’t trick people or show off in any way and he always praises and encourages in a most humble way. Why does this creator feel the need to judge Kazuma’s language skills? What he does is show people the magic of knowing enough of a language to have a basic conversation. He inspired me and it was always obvious to me that his fluency varies between languages. He struggles like I have with language learning. The proof of his ability is demonstrated by his interactions and the positive effect he has on millions of people. He makes you believe that you can do it, too, and reach across cultures to connect with others.
@@SilverTheFlame I watched the video and I understood that. I also understand that there are RU-vidrs who represent themselves as fluent when they clearly are not. Fake polyglots who scam people are a legitimate target. Kazuma never misrepresents anything and the effect of his videos is 100% positive and wholesome. All of this is obvious to the viewer, which is why I was puzzled by this video. As you stated, it was framed for clicks. I don’t respect that either. I can think of several RU-vidrs who might deserve such scrutiny and judgement, but Kazuma is not on that list.
Do Iclal next she's also a polyglot who speaks 8 languages Russian is one of them, she learnt it the same time as German, I can confirm that she speaks German really well
Great content bro! I love the review. I’ve been following Kazu and he inspires me to make videos too. Could you also please do a short review of my Russian. It would be great to hear your take on it. Thanks bro!
Wow is so good channel! Я кстати сам английский учу, классный язык,но только с людьми в дискорде не очень общаться, они говорят быстро и не разборчиво, okay, i will be in this summer trying learn this language
Waita second, Hokkaido is very close to Saikhan [that island that used to have a land border between Russia and Japan in WWII times], no? Surely there's some overlap, no?
@@wayacrazy. if I'm not mistaken he was born in Canada and lived there all his life, so in that case I think that it is acceptable to say that the English language is his native language. The Russian language he learned from his parents.
Read your comment and then watched 2 his videos. IMHO, his pronunciation is very good, just very soft ZH sound and ... and that's all for noticable differencies. I tried to figure his accent out, but his communication and lexicon is too excellent, so I distracted many times!) Really, his accent is good As for communication, grammar and lexicon - he understands and deals with that very well. Maybe he uses a bit more official grammar at conversations than we usually do, but he can speak some slang forms and understand this forms from the opposite side. Thank you for mentioning this channel!
By the Way, studied a bit Italiano and just "un poco poco poco" Español, and I was very suprised I understood some basic grammar in Portugese (I'm informed of some specific things). Hope, one time I will find time to learn these 3 well and maybe even Romanian, I want to take a look at this "limba romana"
Yeah I’m impressed at his knowledge of vocabulary. But you can tell the sentences he says a lot and the ones he is unfamiliar with and his to build on the fly. I still wish I had his level!
"Я люблю это видео" isn't really correct in this case, unless you keep returning to it over and over and it's on the list of your favourite ones. Otherwise, it's better to say, "Мне понравилось это видео".🌼🌼🌼
I think ( but i don't know, is it true ), he is bilingual, because he said "материнский язык" ( mother tongue/native language ) and "японский акцент к русскому" ( japanese accent of russian ), which isn't in use in Russia, Belarus or Ukraine. Sorry for my mistakes
No concrete answer, but what I got from the internet masses, 3 or more (counting native) is already polygloth. And even so, polygloth is more about mindset of learning languages for sake of learning languages, so you can call yourself like that even if you know 2 languages, but planning to learn a lot more.
No specific number, just "several" languages. I personally wouldn't use the word "polyglot" to describe someone who speaks 2 languages only because we have the word "bilingual" so I think 3 or more makes sense to start saying "polyglot" I sometimes see people make up a definition where only, say, 5 or more counts. That's stupid. When native English speakers use the word polyglot they are not thinking "5+" in their head. That's NOT what the word is accepted to mean.
??? what a weird thing to imply. The age demographic for ometv and other similar platforms ranges quite young - that doesn't mean it's wrong to talk to them...he's looking for good reactions.
@@Zelenyi.Klyn.
I can't tell whether Yama is good at faking that Russian is not his native language or if it's really not his native language. If not, then what is? Not English either i don't think.
