Derrick Henry wouldn't be performing the way he is with any other QB. He's having his best season. At his oldest age with less carries than he's ever had and stats are better for a reason.

From how I see it, the Ravens path to the Super Bowl, especially if they wind up with the #1 seed (Only if KC hits a skid) will probably have to go through the two teams that have held them back in the Lamar Era. Kansas City, and Pittsburgh. Oh boy stopping Taylor Swift and possibly Livvy Dunne in the same postseason would be endless joy for all of Flock Nation.

I have seen the Ravens be dominant during the season too many times...only to totally stink the place up. Henry does add a very important piece. But they are beatable. As is any team. All I ask is as the season goes on is that the Ravens remain largely unaffected by injury
The reason Agents, scouts, Steven, Saturday and many others HATE ON Lamar is the fact he was the first major draft prospect to shun hiring an agent for the draft and for his first big contract. They (sports agencies) don’t want it to become a movement of players realizing they don’t need “an agent” especially when they are taking 40% of the players earnings. All these talking heads ie smith, Saturday etc are repped by the same agents mad at Lamar. Former players are also BIG JEALOUS he gave 40% of his career earnings to an agent and Lamar is out here showing he didn’t have to.
And thats on top of the media as well as the NFL's hatred for the Ravens because of Art Modell screwing over Cleveland back in 1995. We've always been the bad guy to the media throughout our entire existance.
Agents are limited by the CBA on their commissions. I think that it's around 3 or 4%. The biggest bite of a players income is now and will always be federal and state taxes (combined, upwards of 50%). I do agree with you that a lot of those salty comments are due to Lamar keeping his contract negotiations in-house.
I'm sure Lamar Jackson would trade all this MVP talk for a Super Bowl win!!! He doesn't have one yet! He is probably the only QB in history with and MVP trophy with no title!

The reason the Steelers are always hard for the Ravens is the Steelers make their team to beat the Ravens and if they do that then the team is able to win against any other team. The AFC is and has been the best conference because they play against each other. If you move any of those teams they would dominate.

I dunno. Aside from Mahomes, the other QB's havent been doing well in the playoffs. Kirk Cousins has a resurgence. Darnold is playing well. Heck, Stroud as well and he doesnt run. Pocket quaterbacks still can do it.

@@ambrosia_123 Nope because the wear and tear from all the contact will start to show very soon, I can see Mahomes making it to 40 since most of his skill set resides in his arm talent and IQ, pocket passer’s definitely have the longest life span.

Jackson probably shouldn't have won it last year, but no one else really grabbed it. This year, to me, he and Goff are both clearly deserving, so far. Both of them are having their most impressive seasons as pros, so far.

Last year Lamar did enough to win, but a rookie Zay flowers fumbled his TD pass on the 1 inch line. Mahomes didn't play better.. people act like he has some spell on Lamar and that's why they win. The Chiefs didn't even score a point in the second half!
