*Edit* 12/13/2021, The Arch Glacor has now been buffed so streaking to higher enrage and higher streaks is a better chance at uniques.

Welp, in that case i believe this aged like milk :s Not your video skills tho, they keep improving. Still, it's good to know since i'd assume the best way to go around A.G Would be 500% and upwards. May need more insight and testing however.

For me even though I REALLY love fighting against Glacor, I just need one core so I can finish my log and sell one of the t95 to buy t99 prayer. That's my main goal for farming Glacor but even after that he's a fun boss to me

From personal experience and from comparing drops with my clanmates, we have found streaking 0-250% is the best way to get unique drops while streaking as far as possible is best for nilas hunting. I've gotten 5 leng artifacts, 1 core, and 25 nilas in 700 hm kc, with a maximum enrage of 700% so far. ALL of my artifacts came under 100% enrage and my core dropped at 220%. I am over 1000 kc between normal and hardmode without pet or a scripture so in one way I am unlucky I guess.

What I don't get is which one matters most: streaks or enrage? Is it better to reset and streak to 500% or to just do 500% kills and reset after a couple of kills for Leng cores?

What most of my clanmates are using the 0-250% streaks for core. And for nilas start at 0 and go as high as you can.

There is a player that has killed 4933 HM glacor not sure how many they are at now but after all those kills they still have no cores. SO i really wonder what the drop rate on the core is. At this point I just want to get these cores and be done with this boss. I used to do 0-500 then reset but now I do 0-250%.

Sponge also said in a stream that the drops per streak are seeded and determined from your first kill. I dont know how enrage and streak affect that but I found it to be very interesting.

If this is true, then it would be possible to poll your seed and know if its a money maker from the first kill. This would be cheating, but its not like its going to stop people.

However, they also may be randomly seeded per streak and if so this would prevent people abusing such a thing. Im just curious to see what the mechanics look like at this point when it comes to enrage/streak buffs to drops.

I have yet to try hm. I'm at 1200 kc so far with 5 leng, 2 Scriptures, 18 nilas and pet. I really like to semi-afk the boss while binging some series or whatever. I haven't broken my habit as of yet, but I will surely start doing hm for the core and more nilas. It's decent gphr in nm in my opinion, I've made around 1.5B on 1200 kills, up to 3 minutes per kill approximately

You and me had very similar experiences at the arch glacor it seems :D i also got a core in the first 100 kills, been streaking as far as i could, to about 1600% now, swimming in nilas that i cant use and im at 1500 kills now and only missing that second core. Last few hours have been 0% claims, i just want that core :D and i know a lot of ppl saying how bored they got from 0%s but i find it rly chill :) its like im mostly watching youtube, but im still playing

109 arch glacor, im sitting at 128m norms. Been getting those lucky 1.7m drops per kills and a nilas that i used for enhanced profits 44m. Pretty easy boss and easy money.. i camped 3k viddy for trash loots

My glacor log is so tilting, I get a nilas drop every other 0-250 I do with my last one having 3 separate drops. 1800 kc and just need one core for log

2190 hm kc for me got my first core at 2158 kc. Streaking 0-250% max enrage just over 400% Only need 1 more core to complete log and got roughly 80 nilas in that span.

No! I usually say hi to everyone and I'm usually in W59, recently I used the portables world and turned my local chat off (because people spam there) and I did not realize it was off for almost three days!! Then I had someone following me and realized! So it was my mistake and I felt bad and probably missed a lot of messages, xd. But I try to respond to absolutely everyone, except if I'm AFK and don't see it :).

@Nuzz Nuzz think you might need to update this and the low enrage vs high enrage video following nerf. I am just returning pvm after a year out and found these vids helpful however post nerf low enrage is awful. Being a noob I thought this would be the easiest boss so committed my weeks of het drop modifier to learning and grinding it but was baffled by how shitty the returns were.

Honestly, normal mode 5 mechs is were its at. I get so many artefacts and books from it. Plus without drops I still make 15-20m per hour. When I streak hard I usually get awful loot, or it takes me around 40 streak to start getting a decent amount of commons. Totally not worth.

It's all rng. I got my first core at 427kc. I've gone through 1.6k kills and haven't seen a core. On reddit, the DR is 1/420 - 1/720 supposedly. Most are found between 0-250%. But not guaranteed

I got 2 cores in less than 300 kc first core was 2 kc 9% enrage second core was 39kc 27% enrage I've been doing 0-250% had pet, 1 artifact, 2 cores 1 scripture currently on 387kc 👍

1642 hm kills...1 book 40 nilas, 4 leng artifact.....0 core. All 0-250, the rate has to be completely random. Some people get it in the first 3 kills and others can do 3k kills and never get it. Arch-glacor is mentally destroying me. UPDATE: first core at 1746 kc 10 killstreak 118% enrage

The rate wouldn't be "random". It is likely just in the ~1/750 range at, i would est. 150% enrage. It is a very rough estimate though

I'm just sitting here frustratedly holding a core but not being able to streak nearly high enough to get the other pieces without farming this boss for the next several months. Highest so far has been 200%. I'm slowly working to push higher, but I want to be comfortable streaking 0-200% without dying or signing before going higher, the biggest thing is still the G I A N T B E A M hitting me when the 100% prot pray ability isn't up, I don't have enough adrenaline (currently resolving by saving a 30% super adr dose for it instead of potting during death swiftness) or I'm a derp and am on the wrong prot prayer.

Limitless sigil can help out a lot in this particular scenario when you’re sitting at 30% but need to devotion.

If you use a shield just use debilitate and reflect and the beam practically does no damage even at higher enrages

also you wanna make sure you time your abilities right so incase that mechanic does happen you have adrenaline to be prepared for it, aka whenever the ice forms along the sides dont use all your adren until you know what spec hes doing.

3,167 Kc and still only have 1 core. Which i got at 1680kc. Fuck this boss i bought the offhand and am never going back. Was honestly a waste of my time since i could have made waaaay more $ doing clues during the 2 month i did glacor.

You gotta do your prayer switches and use anticipation and the ability to block all of the beam damage with magic protect. Took me awhile but you use no food especially if you soul split between prayer flicks.
