When you said you where doing car reviews I was like "oh great" but this is what I'm talking about nobody is going to review a car stereo this extensively.
The only thing I would want in that vehicle, is the McIntosh sound system, Chrysler and Doge are not reliable vehicle, with all dose toy , you will pass more time in the garage, but you will have a good sound system for wend your waiting for a two truck Lol. Good video Shane.
I don't know about their new vehicles but my 2016 Wrangler has been bulletproof. It doesn't have all the electronic stuff the newer ones have so that could be why.
My 2015 Dodge Challenger has been the most dependable car I've ever owned. Nary a blip with the mechanical or electronic systems. Also have a loaded 2022 Gladiator that has worked flawlessly, but I'm selling that and have a Wagoneer on order. The top end version of the Wagoneer (Vs. Grand Wagoneer) has the option for the second tier McIntosh system, and I'm really looking forward to hearing it. FCA or Stellantis vehicles are no less reliable than anything out there these days.
I sold Macintosh car audio back in the day. We demoed the top of the line clarion and it sounded good. Then the Macintosh head unit sounded 100% better. Then the Macintosh cd changer blew them both away. It had a burr brown dac in it and it sounded unbelievable
🤗🤷♂️ SHANE,JUDGING FROM THE COMMENTS…IT SEAMS YOU SHOULD DO A REVIEW OF ALL THE GREAT SYSTEMS.. AND THROW IN THE TESLA SYSTEM AS WELL…I HAVE HEARD IT IS VERY GOOD AS WELL 🤗😁
Just bought a JGC. Comes standard on the Summit. Wow! The sound system is NUTS. BTW, I recommend using a service like Tidal and playing Masters. It's life changing
I’ve been testing this segment quite extensively for my next vehicle, and I’ve found the McIntosh to be my fav system to far. The sound staging is phenomenal, and I’ve found it to be slightly better than the 2023 X7 B&W.
@@josephquinto5812 You should listen to the B&W audio system in the 2023 7 series car. It is a completely different audio system than the SUV has. I haven’t heard the Macintosh system before but I think you will be impressed with the Diamond audio system by Bowers and Wilkins.
@@therealshanelee That's so you - it looks good on you I love Jeep awesome tech I had the previous Cherokee model very luxurious my dog 🐕 loved the rear space with step.
I saw a car show all million plus cars, a wile ago, the commentator of the video freaks out at one of the cars, he said o. My God it has a Macintosh sound system in it! Mac. Sound good everywhere, and the one in my front room sounds fabulous, no matter where Mac is it’s one of the very BEST there is.🍷🍸🍻🎵♾️
@@therealshanelee they were well worth it. If you had that one now, it would be worth more now than originally priced. Your are always ahead with Mac. 🎵🎵🎵🍷🥂👍
I love these new videos, but what the heck is that annoying 10KHz chiming noise at the 7:30 mark? It's probably just the background music. Who else heard it?
So the featured meters don't have a power output scale in Watts just a -dB scale, what good is that? The dB scale is fine but it should include reference watts with full power output @ 0dB.
Your review was excellent non biased and thorough, your delivery smooth, thank you. So this is a separate thought , more for Macintosh folk, Macintosh in Jeep? Given Jeeps (I could pretty it up and say not “Jeep, but Grand, Whatever”, I’m trying to stretch to find a more gental comparison than Macintosh in Jeep is like a Rolls Royce jet engine placed in a Vega or Edsel? Why? I mean, am I alone in this thinking? It’s Jeeps maintenance record, is the pathology. Again, a most excellent review, be nice if Mac would make auto stereos for many autos (Not all, lol) to buy separately. Ok enough out of me.
Shane when you can check out the new Acura Type S MDX Advance it has a 25 speaker 22 channel amp system. Lot of car reviewers say best system they have ever heard in a car.
Jeep x McIntosh is a weird collab to me. Jeep seems like more of a Klipsch partner lol. What's funny is I have a Dirac system in my 13 yr old 5 series.
They're both known as "Made in America" brands. Made sense to me based on the price bracket. I could see the Jeep Renegade having a Klipsch system though 😉
I’m pretty disappointed in the McIntosh stereo in my new grand Cherokee. It’s sounds like it has cheap speakers and fairly underpowered. I was expecting a lot more for the expense of the option.
As an owner of the 2023 GWIII, the entire system is completely underwhelming... The speakers are low key chevy stock speakers. 3 equalizer adjustments?? thats all??? no control over the sound. Very disappointed for a $112k truck.
Too bad this brand didn't team up with Lexus. Instead they team up with one of the worst mass produced vehicles on the road. I get why they did it. Way more chryslers on the road than Lexus. But they could have also put them in the nicer Toyotas as well. Shame. Good audio. Horrible vehicles.
This channel has seemed to shifted into things that cost a lot of money, I dont care about how much it cost or how much cooler I will seem if i own it, just looking for good av talks sooo... bye bye
@@therealshanelee it just seems slick rick sleazy, trip and fall, have some fun with yourself, basically don't make yourself seem so concerned with image, I guess this style just isn't for me, i grew out of fast cars, beer, and flavored wings a few years ago, hopefully you'll get some grey soon and realize that you can't buy hapiness
