A 3 way fight for the constructors title shows how unpredictable this season was. Everyone was saying RB was going to walk it but they are the least likely out of the 3 to win it due to the hopeless 2nd driver.
Yeah, but I’d wager since Vasseur has been around things have been steadily improving. We still make mistakes but we’re not a clown show like a couple years ago… I hope we keep getting better
Here’s the deal. Lando ain’t catching Max. McLaren needs to fend off Ferrari first for the rest of this season. In the off season, focus on Lando becoming a better driver and how to overtake when you don’t have the best car.
If things stack out similar next year, I can't see lando hanging with the likes of max, charles, lewis, and possibly even russel if Mercedes figure out how to balance a car under these regs
Norris showed off his impetuosity by immediately blowing his pole position advantage. This is a very bad sign for McLaren. Their gamble on Piastri has paid off, but if they treat him like a number 2 in the remianing races, they might just suck the competitive edge out of Piastri.
For Lando to win the championship he needs to win 3 or 4 of the last 5 races AND hope Ferrari and Mercedes put themselves between him and Max. Unlikely. Max has that Schumacher ability to pick up a good points haul even when things aren’t going to plan.
What Norris is missing is what Piastri has. I see the new World Champion of McLaren will be more Piastri then Norris. And Piasti had to slow down because of the penalty Norris had to maximize the points.

Once the team told him about Max potentially getting a penalty he closed up the gap between them pretty quickly I think. Also Lando should be careful Charles Leclerc is pretty dangerous in that Ferrari!

Mclel really felt the removal of front flexi wings and the mini DRS that's why even with no Ferrari upgrades they're still in the front and Red Bull performance tanks because of the magic brakes ban
Mclaren modified their flexi wings in Baku and the assyemtraical braking (magic braking) was revised and enforced in Zandvoort, Red Bull were alr falling off after Miami. Don't believe the conspiracy theories, all this is just salt being thrown at each other by f1 teams. This is nothing close to the ferrari 2019 engine which was actl illegal
I disagree. It is not McLaren and Ferrari Pickering at each other but rather Red Bull and McLaren. Both teams look at each other first before making a fuss about Ferrari and that is exactly what Ferrari needs. We know that Ferrari screws up every time they are under pressure to perform well. I really believe that Ferrai will overtake McLaren.

The British media are entitled to some bias but when they are the main broadcasters then it’s a problem & they should try to cut down on their bs. Lando is very good but he doesn’t have that extra sauce. Simple. He’s in the category as same as Sainz. I am 💯 certain that McLaren in the right hands would RINSE the field. Absolutely.
RB has no reason to keep Perez as he let them down with the constructor championship. If they signed Sainz once he was replaced by Lewis, I guess the trophy is in a very good hand. Ferrari is very much in the hunt of the Construction championship. McLaren is making so many mistakes that’s why Norris title chance is in jeopardy. I can see a 3 way championship for the Construction.
McLaren need to stop hobbling Oscar otherwise they will lose the constructors. Now that Lando's title chances are over they will let their drivers race. Piastri will win the WDC in 2025.
Ferrari's resurgence didn't exactly come out of the blue. Since his return to the podium in Spa, Sharl has been outscoring everyone on the grid... the threat is real and had Ferrari gotten that double podium in Baku things would be an awful lot tighter even in both, drivers' and constructors', rankings (Max and Lando would have 4 points less and Ferrari 15 points more). Ferrari has undeniably gained a lot of momentum in the last six races. The British meejah raging over the "unfairness" of Lando's penalty doesn't change the fact that he had an absolute stinker of a race weekend with nobody to blame but himself. In true "Lando fashion" he bottled the start of the sprint and the race and then lost P2 to Carlos in the sprint for good measure... this was all on him. The question is no longer whether Oscar can help Lando winning the drivers' title (which he has no inclination to do anyway) but whether Lando can hold it together for McLaren to win the constructors' championship. P.S. Let's not pretend the WCC has any meaningful value to the teams beyond the 9 or 10 million dollar per position (which is "chickensh*t" in the grand scheme of things), I don't recall any wild celebrations in Grove 1984/1994, Maranello 1999/2008 or Brackley 2021, do you? Winning the constructors' championship but failing to grab the drivers' title always begs the unpleasant question, "Where did it go wrong, why did your driver fail to win despite having the best car at his disposal?" The WCC is just a key to split the FIA prize fund (and allocate wind tunnel time for next season). But if you have a world champion driver in your car the attention of the world is on your team and you can write your own numbers on the checks the sponsors will happily throw at you.
48 points away from ferrari with 5 races left, McLaren should be fine, don't expect 1-2's in a row. RedBull is almost done, with Perez consistently behind.
I think max will win his 4th as he has shown his self even in a slower RB and Austin was a proof of that and Ferrari well I think can win the constructors ❤❤
