i think skirts look pretty good on me and it feels really comfortable to wear. i'm personally more for knee to middle thigh lenght skirts. i do not know much about skirts and i can learn a lot from women, but maybe guys too.
wow. I really like all of these looks. the split skirt and button up shirt was sexy lowkey. the 4th look surprised me initially but it was a great combination. I would've even liked to have seen you in a high low skirt look.
I agree men can wear skirts. However Society might not feel the same way you do. Therefore be prepared for stares and awkward looks. Just my humble opinion. but either way the bold and what you do and stand your ground. never let anyone disrespect you or make you feel any differently then you choose
So what? Sticks and stones. I remember a time when having long hair could get your ass kicked at any truckstop in the South but look at 'em now. Every "change" has a reaction. Me being a male has been a truck driver. Close to 8 year. 5 of those 8 years, I had 4 mini Jean skirts. I only wear them in my truck, that while I'm driving or sleeping. It would be better if you can produce your own line. There are wonderful tailors/seamstresses in the Philippines that I'm sure could produce your designs at a decent price. Back in the last ice age, some Sikh friends got me into wearing Kurtas and those great vests, but I haven't worn them since because it felt disrespectful to do so on my own.. This lookbook really captures a similar style without the cultural appropriation. Any thoughts on fabric choices for men's skirts? For example, I can imagine a stretch jersey might not be a great choice.
Kurtas are actually very long shirts. It was the kachera I wore with the kurta that confused some people. Long Kachera can sometimes look like a kind of western underwear. However, if your clothes are a part of your self-expression, then people will notice your confidence and make room for you. If you are uncomfortable, then other people can become uncomfortable, too.
Problem I see is guys in the fashion world try so hard to look hyper masculine when wearing a skirt, it just creates confusion. If you want too rock a skirt, do so, but own it. The over-compensation doesn't work in your favor. Accept the vulnerability and enjoy your fashion choice.....
My reactions were as follows: Look 1: Ok interesting, looking good. Look 2: Oh that's a nifty combo! Ok I'm feeling this. Look 3: DAMMMM YASSS WEERKKK DAT MAXI! SOME FUCKING MAXI SKIRT TO THE OFFICE SHIT RIGHT THERE! YASSS! Look 4: tbh my least fav. but you still slay. You're style is so uniquely you! Loving the fashion videos though keep 'em coming!

#3 looked a bit like a server. I think if the dress shirt had been left open with maybe a bright or earthy tank and perhaps a patterned legging or shorts under the skirt. would also look amazing with something sparkly...a blazer? jewelry? Great job,keep it up 👍
Ok. This layering info is a lifesaver, and I've think you've done the impossible and actually achieved making the look appear unique and masculine. Totally gonna do look #2 in the future if I find that skirt.
The pants and button down are too bulky under that skirt but I really like that look (minus the pants). However, that last look with the red pants, sheer skirt and those boots- wow! KILL. ING. IT.

Does it serve any functional purpose at all to wear a skirt over pants? On a separate note, I wear a mens thin cotton spa wrap around the house and to sleep sometimes ...feels awesome... relaxed, airy, no constriction
I’m not gay but I were skirts over my skinny jeans it fits my style but I would not wear a skirt by it self and with tights they are just so comfortable
