Petition for Stanley to finally get his dream house🥹 unlimited budget, unlimited pack build… The things I’ve watched this weenie go through since 2020 he deserves it😂😂😂
the square underneath the pumpkin is probably meant to be a piece of cardboard. when you're growing them irl, you put something underneath the growing pumpkin to prevent them from rotting :)
Don't downplay Stanley's pumpkin carving. He was making $500 per pumpkin when he had a higher hardiness skill (which he mastered). He had a fully functional, cozy house st the end. Edit: I am referring to the previous pumpkin rags to riches, not this one.
He was just a story mode cas sim and she was going to delete him but when the name randomized as Stanley she decided to keep him. His first video was painting and the second was gardening, after those she began to put what he'd be trying in the titles.
I think what you should do is put some Strangerville Windows for the eyes. Then put a roof decoration on to in green for the stem. I think the orange corrugated metal roof and walls would have worked better. It doesn't have to be bright, but I think it would look better old and dilapidated.
A way to get rich from pumpkins is to can the pumpkins instead just selling the crop. 1 small pumpkin equals 3 conserve, 1 medium is 5 and 1 large is 12. Each conserve I found is between 150 to 500. The only issue I found is that you can only can orange pumpkins (the others don’t register for some reason? I think it’s a glitch) so just sell the other colors. The last thing is to use a selling table for the conserves/ carved pumpkins/colored pumpkins. Marking up even to 150% brought in a lot of money. This strategy is guesswork, but is based off a recent short lifespan legacy challenge. I had a farmer sim starting up with $0 and they stayed relatively poor. They had a crop of lettuce come in and out of habit I canned it all because it’s the fastest canned crop and doesn’t require a stove. Each conserve was worth around 350 and I had the bright idea to sell it on a market table- ended up with 40k from that harvest of 4 giant lettuce.
I think those green pumpkins are based off of a jardale pumpkin, which starts off green and turns a teal blue as it ripens, it's one of the best pumpkins for eating, I highly recommend it! 🎃
Oh yeah, those are the ones we eat in my country, I have never actually seen a real orange pumpkin like the ones used for carving, so I remember growing up and thinking "why does the pumpkin in the porotos con riendas (a bean stew from my country) not look like the ones in movies"
I haven't seen Simsie do a rags to riches with feathers, and there's a dog trait and perhaps also a cat trait that makes them find more feathers for you. I had a dog that kept fighting squirrels in a pee bush once and I think maybe he was also catching birds in there because he'd bring me a lot of feather gifts. lol
Idea for a challenge: - live in the Cats and Dogs world; -you can't have a pet, but you go around the world opening those gifts they leave around and that's where all your money should come from (you can't make money any other way); - Get a fully functional house; - get 10k saved; - adopt 7 pets 😂
His best pumpkins were likely when his needs bars were in the green and he was in a very focused mood since that is the best one to be in with things that deal with the handiness and gardening skills. This is just a theory, though.
I'm so upset, the pumpkin house should have had a stem! Maybe as the roof or a chimney or something. If you did a stem chimney it could have been connected to an old fire stove and made the whole thing even ~spookier~
Nancy and Geoffrey did the same thing to me. 😂 Nancy asked to stay with me in my 1 bed apartment. Brought her entire family and they fought 5 seconds after putting down their stuff. I had to kick them out and end the stay over. I don't condone dv. 😂I was streaming too like how rude can you be?
Hands down the best way of making money from selling items that can go in your inventory is to use the Sales Table or whatever it is called. I know one comes in Island Living. You can set your items in the inventory of the table, then stock it and tend the table. Then just run a yard sale off the table and you can crank up the price of sales a max of 300%. I love doing a rags to riches in Sulani with a tent and what not on a plot, then beachcomb for items and sell on the table. Quick, easy, and fast money.
3:02 I've been having that issue in my Horse Ranch Save too! My Sims' cat is a prowler so they always fight squirrels and skunks in the bush near the house. Anyways, my Sim's husband want was to woohoo in a bush and I tried to do it in the bush the cat attacks but it wouldn't let me, even if I did the interaction pie AND ran to it. They just stood there! I hope that's not a bug.
I love the pumpkin house 👻 I'm betting the more expensive pumpkins were made during an "Inspired" mood versus "Focused" (which he was in a lot from gardening). Usually anything artistic is improved by being Inspired. And I think it glitched because Kayla went into build mode during the carving.
I have really been enjoying your Cities Skylines game play on twitch + when you shout out City Planner Plays. Good times! Hope u love the new album swifty.
I want to believe all of Simsie's pumpkin carving videos will make one of the sim gurus want to make the pricing of carved pumpkins more consistent, so that it CAN be a source of income haha
I've found that painting, gardening, and writing are pretty good money makers. Gardening is great right off the bat. Painting is second, and writing takes awhile, but once you get higher level you can make a lot.
kayla, you’ve been my favourite youtuber for about three years now and i think i can confidently say that this is the worst house you have ever built 😂
I think what would have been really cool was for you to go all out. With the pumpkin idea, canning the pumpkin, making pumpkin pie, pumpkin cupcakes pumpkin everything along with carving pumpkins
I haven’t seen it where I stay over guess argue so that was interesting. I do wish the pumpkin would’ve been made a little bit bigger for Stanley’s house.
You can make money on carving pumpkins. It’s $25 to buy the pumpkin and then after you carve it you have to persevere it for 50 the its sell from 100-200
Bob and Eliza stayed at my tiny renovated schoolbus for days in a row and the only thing they did was fight each other and kick over my garbage can it was SO annoying
Has anyone found that random sims keep taking the harvestables from your garden? My sim was about to harvest his first bird of paradise after grafting it but a random sim took it first
Starting with $0, talking to plants instead of sims, making my sim ignore everything else to make money. Holy hell, I play all my Sims as Stanley Humprey!
dueling other spellcasters for artifacts is probably effective , as well as looking through the bookcases in the magic realm lot for spell books and selling those 🤔
