I so want Stanley to be added in as an official townie and his lore is that he is some kinda off-his-rocker mad scientist entrepreneur type always looking to get rich quick. He’s wonderful and beloved, but everyone’s also tired of him trying to sell them stuff. 😂

I don't know if you've done the archaeology skill as a get rich quick yet but it's really good for money especially once you get good and they start sending you stuff to verify, it being's like 3-5k per item

WHAT IF… you steal a bunch of the free food around town (ex. townies grilling, the acting career buffet table, college cafeteria, etc.) and put it in your inventory, can you sell those food items for huge profits?? I NEED TO KNOW

I've always been frustrated that I had to add ghosts to my household to resurrect them and make them eat the ambrosia, because they never eat it autonomously for me. This feels like a good way to do it more organically... It's such a niche thing, but it makes me really want to get the pack. I can just see my sim hanging around graveyards selling food to ghosts. Now if only pets could buy food I could resurrect all the ghosts from Brindleton bay's lighthouse island...

Wow, that actually makes me want to buy the pack! Love this!!! Could set this up in a restaurant & run a pizza/hotdog/etc place. If you can sell ambrosia, what else can you sell? Can you have a magical person make special potions and sell them for a lot? Could have a magic shop or magic stand! What about cakes/cupcakes etc? Coffee/bakery shop? How about a candle shop, flower shop, anything else you can make in game type of shop? I've tried to make cakes/brownies etc and sell them on the selling table and they didn't make much money. Also took a long time to sell stuff. This looks so much better.

My favorite parts of the rags to riches is when you build a little house for Stanley using his earnings at the end! Would have loved to see it!

Stanley the cannibal 😂 also the whole resurrecting ghosts with ambrosia is pretty crazy but I hope to do that in my own game! Thankfully my Sim is so close to maxing both Homestyle and Gourmet cooking so my hope is that she’ll get the hang of it quickly! But from what I’ve seen it looks like the food stand is chaotic no matter how skilled your Sim is 😂

i regularly like to imagine that, in an alternate sims timeline Stanley is secretly richer than the Landgraabs and instead of Landgraab Towers etc - it’s Weenie Towers etc 😂

I keep getting those "I'll help with your kids" pop-ups with no kids, so I was like, okay, sure, let's see what happens. I dropped an extra cheap bed on my lot. She wasn't a nightmare. She painted pictures I could sell. When my sim went to work with a dirty apartment, it would be cleaned by the time my sim got home. He used her presence to play chess, they cooked together. I decided it was like grandma comes to visit. Then she disappears. Then she called again. My sim likes her so now she's a regular guest. (I wonder if her traits are random, like I got a good one, but sometimes they might be evil kleptomaniacs.)

STANLEY'S MOMENT TO SHINE!!!!!

I played with this got my sims both the new aspersions and maxed their cooking skills. only had to get their gourmet and baking up. I wanted to send her to collage to get a cooking degree. SO I did. while at the collage library vending she meet a student and they started dating the girl came on to me and I am like ok I will go with it. I was not planning on getting engaged till after collage but she asked me out on a date and well things went fast lol. SO now we live together an both go to collage lol I want to get a restaurant that is Italian themed as my sims last name is Geovonni lol and she dose a LOT of Pizza and my other half went for art so she can sell her art and hang it up at the store or pretend to sell it at the store. Also at the collage library I had like 3/4 ghost ALL the time lol.

I've also gotten frequent calls about infants even while playing a teenager in a childless household. I thought it was just me but clearly not and they broke something lol.

So hear me out, have a sim who can make poor quality pufferfish nigiri and then another who can sell ambrosia so you can kill sims and then sell them ambrosia

I wish the sims 4 actually implemented real sales instead of “burnt potato for 100$ we will buy!” It looks fun but I wish it worked correctly

oh my god !! definitely gone make ambrosia without cheating before starting this business, my sims are max cooking and gourmet already :) Yes !!

To be fair, the most success was from the stolen abrosia :D But overall, very profitable endeavor!

Oh yes, I totally bought it immediately. This one is right up my alley and only cost $10. I have so many ideas for it - currently I have a stand attached to a small home so my sim there can sell waffles and doughnuts (and coffee/tea maybe, I'd like), open just for breakfast. I'm looking forward to having a child start with a lemonade stand. And to putting one in at the public swimming pool for ice cream and slushies and hot dogs. If the modders do reskins will be perfect for medieval waffle-ladies. Or for greco-roman Thermopolium. Sooooo many ideas!

I was binging your playlist once I got and started paying sims 4 and they actually made a similar scenerio, where if U bought the empty lot u have 0 money and it was fun, sad the only goal is to have 1million money without counting the ones u earnt or spent so u have to get that much in your bank account but it was fun to do. I was busy with it all week even tho I only have the basegame, but it was fun and I leant a lot from it. sadly probably only did it because I kept buying youth potions because it took me 121 days(in game) to do it, sooo XD i had to max out many aspirations, still it was fun, and I had fun watching this series too. I am kind of curious if u have other challange playlists? I will check them but I only have the basegame and for me some scenerios so bugged. ("stuck in their shadow" one I getting maxed almost at the carier before I even get the phonecall, it takes 10+ days to get that call from the rival and I reseted twice and it never fixed it so I could not do it because I kept getting promoted way before it allowed me to get a point for it so yea... It was a fail, but this one I was actually able to do :)

I still wish we got a blender either in this pack or in the last cooking one 😭😭😭 I want smoothies😭

I think I broke my comment watching this so early, never caught it 42 seconds after release. I commented but I can't find it, it's late here after 11pm so maybe I'm just too tired to see it. But wanted to say omg I love this stuff pack, I did not make much money but it was a lot of fun trying (I think my sim pestering them turned them away from buying 😅) Oh and if you're setting up with two sims, one cooking, one selling, ensure the one selling starts the food sale, as only one sim can persaude customers to buy, I learned that the hard way lol I have now found group cooking is glitched, not sure if it's the pack or just my family but could not get them to group cook, I'll try again when I play next with a different family and see if it works. Got so many Food Stand ideas swirling in my brain, Say Knope To Hunger - Leslie Knope (from Parks & Rec) sells waffles to everyone, and maybe have Ben sell pizzas only with Calzone Calzones as his stand name lol! Oo and Ron can have the 'All the eggs and bacon' as his stand lol! 😄 Hope everyone else is loving this stuff pack, can't wait to see it's integration into April & Dory's life too! 😊🥰

8:23 I just redownloaded Sims 4 for the first time in about 6 months (my laptop fully died, like I had to completely reset it, and I didn't get around to getting everything back), and Eleanor has been calling me EVERY DAY at 12pm wanting to know if I want help with my infant. I did have an infant at the time, so I figured it just glitched and didn't remember I'd already said no, but now the kid is a toddler and she's still asking if I want help with my infant. F*** OFF, Eleanor!

That Eleanor Sullivan is just SO annoying... Especially when your Sim do not have any kid and it's the 20th time that she's calling. I got a Sim build her painting skill from none to 10 painting only 2 medium classical paintings. Without tiny-home. Things that helped : Having ALL the traits improving skill gain, starting with Top Notch Toddler, the 4 base child aspirations plus 3 of the polyvalence ones, Scout Aptitude, and a lot with the Artist Studio trait. She builds almost all of her skills that fast.
