SOWETO is actually listed a a city in South Africa in many information available online. That is the basic reason many of them list it as a city.

if they asked me about Nigerian cities i would only remember Lagos and Abuja. I am hapy to see that so many Nigrian brothers and sisters know so much about SA.. One love🥰 Since the online wars I have been thinking Nigerians hate us but I see the war is only internet based coz even in SA many people had good things to say when they were asked about Nigerians in a street quiz.

As a Nigerian I know Joburg, Pretoria both in Gauteng province and Durban, umhalanga and Pietermaritzburg in KwaZulu-Natal province,East London in the Eastern Cape province, Capetown from the western cape province . Bloemfontein in the free state province, mbombela in mpumalanga province Kimberly in northern Cape

I used to have BEEF with Naija but NOW i have RESPECT ,As a South African i wasn't even thinking EAST LONDON but you guys were . it proves there is more LOVE THAN HATE between SouthA and Naija , and by the way , the only cities i know in Nigeria are Abuja, Lagos and Banana Island , im not so sure about the last one 🤣🤣😂😂

How do they know East London though is it because of the UKs London ? How do they know about Rhodes and Tembisa too ? Soweto is part of Johannesburg,Tembisa is part of Midrand or Ekhuruleni if im not mistaken. Tembisa and Soweto are townships.

Nigeria has popular cities like Abuja, Lagos, Port Hacourt, CALABAR, BENIN/EDO (One of the greatest empire in Africa), Uyo is kind of popular also (Where the super eagles mostly play their home games, there are other cities like Jos (The coldest city in Nigeria which gets to as low as 2-4 degrees at times), IBADAN, KANO ETC
