The challenge is how to get the best deal. Contestants meet the dealers who offer cash for an item. The seller must decide whether to accept the guaranteed money or risk fortune or failure in the auction room. Of course, placing one's trust in a positive auction outcome is a gamble in itself! Given that this episode came from Yorkshire, I think it’s more likely that the portrait was of Lord St Oswald, whose estate was 16 miles away from Doncaster. Presumably the 3rd Baron, b.1893. Certainly not Oswald Mosley.

Why shouldn't they sell the medals? The two world wars were initiated by the ruling class to safeguard their colonies. There is nothing patriotic about such a war. The ruling class used the working class and sent them to murder each other. Because of uneducated people like you the country is going to the dogs.
