Considering you're using the hardcore rules, I think resetting if you die is just a time waste. A big part of Nuzlocke's is the random encounters, and if you're only using one Pokemon that isn't a factor you have to worry about. No healing in battle/level cap with one Pokemon gets the same difficulty across. Great job! It was a cool run.
as far as im concerned, not having wasted time redoing an identical run is perfectly fine. the skill is in figuring out what you can do to win. not in getting lucky. hence why i prefer 6-0 runs to nuzlockes.
Quick question, do you have a comprehensive document on the HGSS NPC Trainer data lying around? I noticed you had some insight on some minute stat info for Gym Leaders, Kimono Girls, and the like. Best I could find was this one for speedruns that, being minimum battles for expediency, didn’t cover rematches.
Silly question, but since you made it super clear that you could earn unlimited money, and used day changes to do it, why not just explain how it is possible and then just give yourself the money?

Humanly *possible*, yes, but humanly sane? All of that hyperspecific grinding (EV training, Rock Smashing, competing in the Pokeathlon, VOLTORB FLIP-)....
I'm pretty sure you can get Chikorita through the first gyms, he gets Poison Powder and Synthesis both before level 13 - you just need to be able to survive two moves from either mons (and land poison powder on the first try)
"One pokemon only!" Proceeds to use an Exp share mon as well as multiples for the pokeathlon :( In my opinion this is no longer a hardcore solo locke. So I still consider it unbeaten for this game Still a good run though
