I love that Paige is so smart and adaptable to any environment. She really was a quick study as a charmed one and learned new things around her at a highly fast pace (a quality she's always had in her even before becoming a witch).
I still say it was Ava’s mother’s ghost who deflected the atk. Not physically there, but there when needed the most, rather then just solely a comforting feeling of “in spirit”.
I think the same! It was Ava’s mother. I honestly thought that it would be Ava delivering Wyatt. A doctor who knew the big secret, woulda been awesome.
@ivangarza1500 No, in the show she said all her ancestors in the spell. It wasn't just her mother that deflected the demon it was her other ancestors as well even her mom😅
@user-mk8ft8ig9y Ermm when Paige dyes her hair back to brown and got a littler tanner, she then looked more like a Halliwell. But I also liked how Paige stood out being a half-sister
@jpierce8148 what does casting decisions have to do with Alyssa ? So many people were added to this show during its duration ? Billy and Christie were two lead actresses in the season finale. Makes no sense
❤ this episode one of my favorites of charmed Ava still had her gypsy roots it showed through her magic ✨ officially speaking because I'm a Romanian gypsy my self I'm proud of what I am😊
It sucks that gypsies are always underpowered compared to witches whether in Charmed or other shows like Buffy. In Charmed it took a whole group of high priestesses to blind a single demon whereas Piper can vanquish most demons with a flick of her wrist. Then on Buffy it took a whole tribe of gypsies to curse a vampire by returning his soul whereas Willow, a novice witch, does it pretty much all by herself.
Willow being a novice because she wasn’t born one?!? The only way for her or any person to be able to tap into it is if it’s within the bloodline. Now, novice because she’s new to the craft? Okay but, being a natural witch has its perks. Haven’t studied much about Gypsy mythology so, this will encourage me to do just that
I mean no offense, but it was not a whole tribe of Gypsies who performed the Ritual of Restoration - only one of them, an Elder of their tribe. Giles once affirmed that performing this ritual required a greater knowledge of magic than even he could claim, and that should an inexperienced practitioner attempt it, it could open a door that said practitioner might never be able to close. However, this Gypsy Elder was shown to successfully perform the ritual without letting the magic she channelled take over her. This demonstrated how her knowledge of and experience in magic surpassed those of even a professional Watcher like Rupert Giles.
@@hiramjohnson9681I mean novice and in she was new to witchcraft. I’m pretty sure that was the 1st spell she ever cast and it was a challenging one. Also witchcraft isn’t a hereditary thing in the Buffy universe. It seems like most witches inherit it from a parent, but Willow didn’t.
If there is one thing I do not get, it would be why Ava only invoked three when the Charmed Ones invoked eight in their Ancestral Spell. Does it mean that those three whom she invoked - Marina, Tereza, and Lydia - were the only magical Gypsies in the Nicolae family? Or was she unable to recall more due to the gravity and intensity of the situation then?
I always wondered why did Wyatt's protective shield didn't work here. Piper was able to stand against Cole with it and according to Leo, they were both invincible.
You know ava saw magic plenty in this episode but yet Piper and Phoebe were worried about Paige accidentally orbing in front of her when she sneezed a few episodes later. Someone messed up there and I wish they had let Piper get an ultrasound with babies first photo I mean come on Wyatt was part Angel he wouldn't have zapped anything like when Phoebe was pregnant. The other thing too Ava was an MD doctor when Piper went into the hospital with high blood pressure Ava would have monitored that. Lots didn't make sense with those few episodes.
It feels so dumb that the only other time we see her again, it's a different actress, her name is slightly different and they treat her as if she only slightly knew about magic but never actually saw any active powers.
its so annoying that Freebie got an amp this episode on her premonition power but this episode was the only episode, after this her powers didnt advanced and she never got to go into the future or past again, not to mention that they took her powers away, also we never got to see her future killing power in season 7 or 8
Phoebe's (she's not the only sister who sleeps with multiple men on the series) powers only amplified because she was touching the amulet. Then as she started to find more balance in work and being Charmed her power advanced, but Phoebes abilities cost the most which is why it's focused on the least in later seasons due to budget.
What’s annoying is y’all insistence on hating Phoebe for literally any and everything. At least she got s power up. Paige’s powers *never* advance the way we see in season 4’s body swap episode.
She astral projected into the future in season 8 episode 9 it’s the last time we see her have a premonition. Also, she got that future killing power in the comics sometime after the events that took place in season 8 and it’s called Psychic Reflection.
@@Damodred_Heiress Paige’s powers advanced to the point where she was able to remote orb ppl away, throw demons against the wall, etc. plus she got the rest of her white-lighter abilities.
She was in the first stages of her pregnancy, her powers were not at their best, she tried to blow up Orin's son, it did not work, after Orin got Lydia's eyes, he was much more powerful. I think that they could've try a power of three spell, but Orin was too quick, they would have need a crystal cage.
If I had Prue or Piper’s powers then yes. If I got Phoebe’s (which I would since I’m actually the youngest of three siblings) I would be more of a psychic trying to help in smaller ways.
