I was denied a US visa last year despite having a travel history that entails Rwanda, Uganda and France, where i had gone, two months before my visa interview. Actually, i reapplied for a US visa two months after jetting into the country from France.

Unfortunately, travel history (while often helpful) isn't a guarantee that you'll qualify for a visa. The Visa Officer will look at as many details about your situation as possible when making their decision. @iamochieng how long did you request to stay in the US? Are you employed with the same company for at least 5 years? Do you have family ties back home ?

@@edwingarcia9626 @edwingarcia9626 I told them that i will be there for only one week. Yes, i have worked for the company for 11 years. I am not a married person and my marital status should not be a hinderance because i cannot forge a marriage just to please the embassy.

Please help!!! Hi, I am a US Citizen, my wife was granted an IR1 Lawful Permanent Residency (LPR) and a Social Security number on 5/19/1997, and lived in the USA with me until 3/17/1999 and she had not returned to the USA since that date. Her Resident Alien Card expiry date is 06/10/2007. My QUESTION is; if her LPR status still active or not, and if I should file Form I-90 or Form I-130 all over again.

Hello ZF Visa & Immigration team 🖐 I have some query regarding off the topic which is my schengen visa refusal..me and my friend applied for schengen visa from italy on 1 march 2024 and we got refusal on 5th march..we have already been to indonesia last year and the reason was -> there are reasonable doubts as to your intention to leave the territory of the member states before the expire of the visa

Me & my daughter will apply for tourist visa this year, we're once denied last 2013 because my husband is illegally living in the US by the year 2008-2016, he divorced me in 2016 & he married in US citizen in 2017,(he declared that he has a daughter,our daughter which not yet in a petition process) Can my daughter and i qualify for tourist visa? Hi, can you please help to answer a question? I was in USA a couple years ago with J1 visa and I had social security number. Now that I’m applying for C1D visa should I put that SSN in my DS-160? Or not need?

If you have a social security number, you should include it where asked. Remember: the key to the visa application process is to be honest, and answer all questions truthfully!

I was denied visa two months ago and vo told me I can reapply any time again. When I reapplied I got an earliest slot in 2025 although on website the waiting day was 1 calendar day. Could you please advise what happened

I am wondering does it effect if I stay in a place like Dubai since 8 years with a stable job in reputable organization in the Middle East. And travelled before to Turkey, Thailand, Italy, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, but still single and my age is 39 years old. Can all of the previous factors help me qualify for US Visa ?

Hello sir I am a Indian citizen and currently iam in US ON J1 TRAINNE visa sir in ds 2019 the officer has marked that iam not subjected to 2 years home recidency but my visa says that i am subject to 2 years home recidency and iam really confused as they made some mistake so can i change it please help as my friend on the same visa has 2 year home recidency not required

Please help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had an integrated masters degree in computer science for which I travelled to bangkok for my graduation ceremony as the course has been finished during the covid and graduated in 2022 (work expe of 1 yr 3mon) and I want to do masters in software engineering in san jose state university, but my visa got rejected now on june 5th 2024(i think the main reason was i mentioned i had masters and bachelors degree in my ds 160 so specifically by filling it seperately), so i am not understanding how to improve my profile and reapply for visa for this fall 2024. Please help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not at all! Previous travel is just one way you might improve your chances. Many people spend their first trip abroad in the United States!

Sorry, i don't know if if someone smeared honey on the usa but really, you make things very complicated ... one has to prove he/she is innocent as if that person is being judged and the burden of proof lies onto his/her shoulders... i've been rejected once and won't apply again in 100 years
