I’ve never seen ESAM lose so much hope over the course of a quiz to the point where he literally thinks a character’s color pallet is just a fast food item.

That second DK has a noticably darker skin tone than the others, and yet the middle swatch is the same color.

Dark Pit not having the skin tone that comprises like 50% of the character, what with his skimpy little angel toga, was a little lame

You could say this was one of Little Z's best quiz performances.

Panda Video Idea: People send pictures of like their most played characters (that one spot in like their records) but cover their most played. Then it is up to the Panda people to guess their most played based on their other characters they play (like 2-9). Or something like that

Everyone said last time this was a great quiz to follow along with but I keep on getting frustrated at the poorly defined rules. The 'primary-secondary-tertiary' rule doesn't hold up, because for marth, blue is in his 'primary' slot yet his blue hair accounts for only a very small amount of his total colour. So then you start thinking maybe blue on the top means the character's got blue hair? The ness one was also just his hat, face, shirt and pants in order. Until ZSS shows up with blonde hair at the bottom. So it's this weird, vague, formless pattern, where you have to reason 'in what circumstances would the quiz creator have made the top square black' and meta-thinking like that is no fun.

i feel like what colors they use and dont use are inconsistent as hell, sometimes they use skin tone, some times they. like steves top color for some reason was his hair, instead of his skin, and marth didnt have his skin tone, but ness did

#6 took me embarrassingly long. I knew it was Marth but kept second guessing because I remember the last color having more purple to it.

I have an idea for a new panda quiz format. Basically, the people get a combo with the move names, (the generic names, not character specific) and the players have to guess the character from the combo.

The other color challenge was super hard ngl 0:22 ice climbers? Nice start 👍

Nah that last one was chaotic LOL... and even more painful because I played them through all of Smash 4

I was doing good until Marth hit. That second cape tripped me up

Well, I got a perfect score on the last one of these, so I suppose I should try it again. Here goes nothing 0:23: Ice Climbers. Took me a solid five minutes to figure it out and resort to mentally going through the roster in order (don't ask me why I have that memorized) but I'll be shocked if this is wrong. The red alt does remind me of the Duck Hunt alt I mained when the game came out, but there's nothing to represent the dalmation-patterned dog so I think I'll stick with the Icies. Green and Yellow alt also had me thinking it was Ike for a minute (Does he even have an alt like that?). Ultimately, I'm confidant that it's Ice Climbers 0:40: 1 Point. Aaaand, they figured it out instantly (unless it was edited). ESAM does make an excellent point though, once I thought of Ice Climbers, that last color is what convinced me I was right. Moving on! 0:47: Ness. Saw the red on the first alt and that weird shade of purple that I think only Ness and Lucas have. I'm going long on this one 1:04: 1 Point. Not much to say here. Moving on 1:11: Steve. Easiest guess of my life 1:26: 1 Point. Yep 1:31: Donkey Kong. The purple on alt 8 looked so familiar to me, probably because that's Little Z's DK alt. It's always weird seeing equal proportions of colors representing characters who are typically 97% one color, and possess the other colors exclusively for details 1:54: 1 Point. Took them longer than I expected. Oh well, took me a minute too (I usually pause at the timestamps I mention to think it over. Figured I should have that in writing somewhere) 2:00: Min Min. Not sure if I should be proud that I guessed that almost instantaniously, but I don't think anyone else has multiple cotton-candy *and* multiple dark costumes spaced that far apart. Also the default color palette is pretty unique, probably my first clue 2:16: 1 Point. Good, I'm not weird for knowing that. Mark of a good character design, I guess? 2:33: Ike. Saw the navy blue and thought of Lucina, then I saw the 8th alt. I know for a fact Ike has that exact color scheme. Not sure about the rest, so I think this may be my first L. But for now, I like Ike 3:41: 0 Points. Ouch. I don't think I've ever noticed Marth's white alt having red accents. I also thought that the black alt's secondary color was gold and not orange. I didn't think the first two alts seemed like Ike, but oh well. Honestly, it's probably good to know I haven't fully internalized this game. Also ESAM really considered Meta Knight lmao 3:54: Sheik. Getting that last answer wrong has dealt my confidence a much worse blow than I thought it would, I have almost no confidence in this answer 4:26: 0 Points. I have officially fallen off. I thought Richter's default was a brighter blue, and fogot he had a brighter blue alt entirely. My john is that I usually play Simon 4:38: Sheik. Again. I cannot think of another character who would have those last to alts. The pale colors did make me think Mewtwo, but that makes less sense the more you look at the list. Surely Sheik will work this time, I know I've seen half of these color schemes before 4:59: 1 Point. Honestly shocked that Little Z is doing so well. Perhaps cosplay is the way 5:07: Zero Suit Samus. Didn't they do this in the first one? Who else could this be? Am I just a fool? 5:39: 1 Point. Let's gooooooooooooooooooo!!! Those are some shockingly distinct color palettes now that I think about it 5:59: Piranha Plant. No thoughts, head empty, probably wrong 6:25: 1 Point. Can't believe we all had same "don't care" mindset for this one 6:32: Squirtle 6:48: 1/3 Point. 6:59: Chrom. That's not right and I don't care, I've got other things to do today 7:42: 0 Points. It wasn't until this video that I realized ZSS and Mega Man have the exact same color scheme by default. Not sure what to do with this knowledge, but I appreciate having it nonetheless.

I got maybe 7, but I 100% got that ZSS one in maybe 3 seconds. I play bikini Samus and/or Ann Takamaki a lot, and knew which skin slots those fell in.

I actually really like this 1v1 format. Finally, Coney can beat top players at smash.
