Think of it this way, he actually made some very successful shots. the fact that he could even hit that basketball hoop in that kind of a wind, proves what a great talent and legend he was. At that distance, any football player, even with his foot, would not be able to hit that hoop in that strong wind. but delap did it with his arm muscles at such an effortful distance. and as I said, to summarize it by focusing on the green pitch, he doesn't have to throw it into a tiny basketball hoop. the dangerous area where he sends the ball is a good enough angle for finishing strikers. you have to think of it that way and appreciate it. probably in such a windy environment, even curry couldn't shoot that ball from 40 meters :)

The charisma, challenge, special effects, props, script and the success of the final throw really make this video worth the 15 mins.

The most impressive bit is not the distance, but how he's able to incorporate the wind speed and direction into his throws. I'd say if this was done indoors then he would have easily completed it.
