Superman is a broken character with little consistency other than the fact his character is inconsistent. There practically isn’t a single power he didn’t once have. He would just make up powers out of thin air. He once made little supermen coming out of his hand who were just as powerful as the original and had his personality and same feat abilities. 😂 In such a case he could just make a bunch of little Supermen to match how many viltrumites came after him without the original Superman lifting a finger. When writers restrict Superman’s powers it’s an attempt to make his character a little more grounded and to be more relatable (which would appeal more towards adults). When Superman is able to make and create new powers out of thin air it’s more the stuff of a children’s comic where he can’t be defeated because he basically controls the universe and it’s outcome if he chooses (like a dreamworld of a person who can literally do anything).

Do Superman VS Ultimate Aggregor. Despite the lack of power output, Aggregor was absolutely indestructible. Nothing that knocked him down ever caused him to feel anything.
Superman would fight, realise there is no converting or reasoning with aggregor and put his ass into the phantom zone before aggregore csn leech enough of clark's power to make any difference. The phantom zone is completely immaterial, aggregore has to physically touch something to absorb it. He can't leech powers off of anything in the zone and goes insane eventually. The only upside to him is that he won't lose power either and won't age. He will remain physically still while within the zone.

I think the only way the viltrumites would win would be if they found kryptonite or some cosmic object/ally to aid them, as even though viltrumites are tough - they are not kryptonian tough, and there's only like 50 left (unless you count hybrids)
Kryptonite really should not be a challenge. Superman can just destroy it with heat vision. Without some plot need to make the fight last longer kryptonite wouldn’t be all that helpful.

You realize the only times the characters beat Superman, is either if they are an equal to Superman or abuse one of Superman's weaknesses. For example, Batman, raz, lex, and joker use kryptonite. Doomsday and Zod are equal to Superman in some instances, but in majority of the cases, Superman wins. Black Adam has magic, which Superman is vulnerable to, but it doesn't mean he regularly loses to magic users. Parallax is also more a green lantern being who feeds off of fear and is fear itself. Superman has beaten Zod and black Adam in a 1 on 1 fight, he has also taken down multitudes of foes at once. You're using outlier fights where Superman loses for plot reasons but then does stuff that shows him losing is an outlier and plot based. Main timeline Superman outclasses all those foes you named, for example when he beat metallo by using his projection powers or when he stopped a fully charged attack from a amped doomsday without breaking a sweat, the same doomsday that was giving a hard time to Jon Kent.

In DK3, he more or less does that. He stops an army of Sun powered Kryptonians and he massacred all of them much to the surprise of Batman, so much so that Batman recognized that the only way he had a shot at defeating him was because he held back massively.

The new genesis and apokolips collision is far far far more impressive when you know that it is been stated in DC that those planets are actually so big that they dwarf GALAXIES. So superman can easily survive collision of multiple galaxies. Another fun fact is, Hyperion from marvel survived collision of two universes and superman is more powerful than him so it all checks out. Superman can tear through the whole freaking viltrumite invasion all by himself. Actually there are atleast 10 people in DC prime earth that can stop viltrumite invasion all by themselves. DC has made their characters way too powerful. Even some of their physically weak characters like Zatanna amd Constantine has so much hax magic that its freaking ridiculous.
If the Viltrumites knew who they were dealing with they could travel all across the Galaxy in search of kryptonite. All the pieces of the planet are scattered across space. With the Viltrumite's technology they could build a metal detecting satellite that can detect kryptonite and send legions of these satellites across the Galaxy in search of kryptonite. Or they could just get the existing kryptonite on Earth and just use it against him.

Actually what you said was true about the silver-age Superman. However his power was scaled back by the writers because they thought he was too OP. Now the pendulum has swung the other way with the more current version of Supes. So it all depends on which version of Supes you're talking about.
Thragg would destroy parts of his body hitting Superman. Main DC Superman is the strongest of all Supermen with maybe one or two exceptions. He is on the level of Pre-Crisis Superman. I would love to see a comic of Main Superman catching up with Superboy Prime as Superboy is trying to better himself after the events of Death Metal. 😊
