I am SK8's father. I miss him everday. I know his story better than most. I am proud of his crew. I would love to hear from his closest friends. God Bless.
I remember your son was on front cover of urb n can control magazine when I was 15 years old he was and still a legend r i p from the Inland Empire 909
I wasn’t a tagger but used to run into this crew here and there when I was in my early teens in the 1990s. I was a random dude who was in the punk scene. All the kids knew Skate, RIP, and Anger, who used to wear his hair in a braid down his back, IIRC. I used to see the tags everywhere. I can’t wait to see this documentary. Wish all the people in this the best. Stay well.
How time flies!🤔. Great memories at Fairfax High School, had classes with many of these guys(Anger, Mear and many more CBS crew members). Thanks for the memories and good friendships fellas! God bless you all....
I grew up in LA and remember seeing CBS everywhere. Where have you guys been? I missing seeing your guys tags on the 110 freeway on my way to work. There was also another guy name Atlas, saw him everywhere, really dope way he spelled his name.
To everyone inquiring about seeing a screening of the film, there will be two December 10th in Los Angeles. Details will be posted on Social Media soon. Details will be on our site and the CBS crew instagram page. Thanks for your interest and patience!
I remember seeing Chaka and Sleez all over L. A. back in the late 80s early 90s, fond memories of living in LA chilling wit the homies from esBST. LA has changed so much, peace to everyone
I remember catching a spot with homie*Night owl hours* and some dude rolled up in his whip and yelled some shit like ay or something i can't remember but what i do remember is that we thought it was a gang member trying to trip, but it was some dude from cbs*repped his crew* saying that's right dawg handles. Something like that . and we were like. O.o we just met someone from cbs doooooope.
Amazing! So glad I found this. I went to Fairfax back in the day with many heads. RIP SK8, we used to play footsie before we went to sleep (innocently, of course, separate couch and I remember his girl, wasn't her name Becky?) whenever I'd crash over at Brian's (Jughead's Revenge) house. He was so real and kind and I was super sad when he passed. Gone way before his time. :( Props to you and to calling out Mr. Brainwash, OMG, freaking hilarious. I also went to Culver City with Eklips and Wreak from AWR so I guess I was lucky to be around all the good graffiti and knew the difference. Keep on keepin' on. Peace. :)
Aging Imperfectly Yeah, her name was Becky, she went to Beverly Hills High. Used to run into her and Skate. And Jughead’s at the Anti-Club. Everyone kinda knew of one another. Early 90s LA was dope.
Yes, Becky. But they broke up. Aaron found love with a girl named Blossom. He had her name tattooed on him. I was told she was their when the accident with the train occurred in Van Nuys. Thanks for the response. Aaron's dad David.
@@davidaronek2062 We miss SK8. I still hang with Blossom. Thank you she is gonna be happy to know that SK8 and her love for one another is still live in hearts
Sk8 and Rob Won were and are legends. They took it to the edge and dropped off. When I was about 10 before I moved to Spokane I remember Rob and sk8 were looking for new music and idk if anyone remembers this but I had this cassette of this dude who called himself rappin 4 tay which was called playaz club. Sk8 didn't know much about the music scene like me or Rob but sk8 I saw him for the last time about a month before I moved which was pretty close to his unforgettable end and he seemed like he had ADHD or something. He was bobbing his head rapping out the lyrics on the tape of 4 tay playaz club and he was jamming like a metal dude whipping his long hair around in circles 😂 idk any of them a lot I only had a few times I ever hung out with anyone from cbs cause I was just too young. CPS found out my single mom who disappeared was in rehab and I was forced to go to Spokane to live with my grandmother who died of cancer that year
I use to live in the SFValley and that's when I started getting involved with graffiti in highschool but than I moved to Oxnard my last 2 years. I always respected that culture and I know there's a person from CBS that's from Oxnard named Porfas. Not only that I work at Simi Valley and I saw an older dude than me with a CBS tattoo on his left arm in old English... I was like "nahhhh".... But it actually was... I was like "dang"..
I had spoken w/sk8 & Blossom, the very week he died, while in Hollywood. He wanted to come down to the desert & paint. Exchanged numbers, spoke afterwards.. Then the Ontario yard got him. Rest In Peace homeboy-
knew a lot of these dudes. shit even fought them sometimes and beat them up and they beat me up sometimes. used to get caught slipping on the 420 bus line. would love to get a copy of this dvd
I remember some fo from CBS tryed to rob me .I was on the 181 bus on Hollywood and Normandie and this homeless fool with boxing gloves was trying to rob me picking my pockets.I was like wtf ,,the bus driver told us to get off the bus.I told that fool come out the bus and let's throw down.He refused to exit ,then the bus started taking off and he yelled CBS..I was like what I couldn't believe it .It was a long time ago like 27 years ago. After all that s@#t I still got mad respect for them .Peace to legends like Sk8 and Sleez to name a few .. HOLLYWOOD WESSSIDE🤟🤟☠☠
Everlast and the Kottonmouth Kings SRH Suburban Noize Records brought me here. Rip-hop mania and graffiti movie. I am going to get the DVD on eBay. West Coast graffiti legends the CBS. RIP Sk8, Pakelika, and Saint Dogg. 🤘🤘🤘♠️♠️🔥🔥🔥🔥🌟.
I miss the old days bro, I really fukn do !! Trying to explain how life use to be to this new generation is Impossible because you can't explain those feelings they have to be felt by the individual themselves !! I know one thing, I'm Not From These Times I Just Live In Them !!!! RIP SK8 " RIP 80s&90s

There was a CBS in SF late 80s. They were also skater surfers punx...Any relation? I always tripped off that because I somehow always known about CBS in LA.
So whats the difference between CBS and MSK AWR? Like style/attitude wise I know Met and Nace are CBS so id say i like them more since im from Cincinnati
