The fact that the band was willing to allow that young man hop on stage and give it a go speaks to their humility and willingness to let others live their dreams
I’m grateful for parents who introduce their children to rock & metal, those genres were on the decline for years. Here’s hoping Jake creates his own metal band in a few years! I say a few years because his fellow bandmates may need time to catch up to him lol! Love your mad skills Jake!❤
A 70 years old Frenchie watching this absolutely amazing performance ! So much talent deserved to get the chance to be shown to the world ! Great work kiddo ! ❤️🎸❤🎸❤🎸❤
Young man. I've wasted too many hours on this platform but every now & then a nugget of gold like this pops up & I'm so happy to have seen it. Crazy, crazy talent. Well done kid. 👏👏👏
@@saxyfly when I was 10 (a while ago) I was probably running up n down stairs of tenement buildings playing chap door runaway. This kid has made much better choices.
This is the occasional "spark" that a band needs to break the monotony of being up on stage, or being on the road. A true honor to know our youth is really paying attention and ready to carry-on with Rock n' Roll.
The faith that mother has in her son to stand up there and perform with those professional musicians brought tears in my eyes as a 34 year old man. Good job, momma bear! I believe you are doing exactly what you are called to do in raising this young man!
And I don’t even know who this band is lol but it came up on my feed and I thought .. ok I’ll watch this and I’m so glad I did 🤗 what a nice band to let this sweet young man up to play with them! This will inspire this young man to keep on going🎸he was incredible! Ps.. I’m watching from Cali 😉
no, they are NOT always supportive of each other. There's a full range of response from a full range of musicians. That is part of why this video is magical and wonderful. Because they DID support him so sincerely and fully. They are clearly confident in and of themselves along with being successful and are happy to share the stage. It is a great bit of video here.
Great musicians allow this to happen. It's the self indulgence of mediocre musicians that won't allow this. Believe me. I've been in this situation many times
The over reaction of the singer was embarrassing for him… what a big Notre he is… trying to draw attention back to himself constantly.. he couldn’t just let the kid play and show his talent, oh no, it was all about him. Sad.😢
@@susantenney8604 Interesting. My experience is limited and not a musician. My experience has been that any musician I’ve ever known has wanted everyone to come along for the ride. As in any profession, insecurity can lead to bad behavior.
There are adults who will never be able to play that song with the same amount of skill, precision, heart and soul that you did Jake. You have a gift. It's not a talent because this is truly innate....from within...a gift bestowed to you upon your birth. I'm following you now because I know you have an amazing future ahead of you and I want to see you reach your full potential. Just remember, success doesn't come from luck. It comes from hard work, practice and a ton of perseverance and from believing in yourself and your gift. It comes from being humble, not cocky, self assured, not arrogant, and being grateful the Lord blessed you, I can't wait to see all you accomplish. Wishing you the best.
The band is awesome for letting this happen! Well done young man 😊❤❤ This was great for him and something he will always remember. Great cover all around. 😊😊
Not only can this kid play. Not only does he have courage to ask. Not only does he have the bravery to stand in front of a live audience... but he can properly perform too. And boy what a performance. Total respect Jake.
From a Gen-Xer who grew up listening to Guns 'N Rose's "Sweet Child 'O Mine", Jake shredded the hell out of the guitar solos on that song! Loved it! Mad respect, young man!
Wow I love how all the guitarists came over to him and really wholeheartedly jammed with that little boy. So supportive and sweet how they treated him💖 brought tears to my eyes, reminded me of my brother who was also a musical genius in his time here.
In the infamous words of Garth and Wayne, “we’re not worthy! We’re not worthy!” No cap tho. He’s truly gifted and keep on rockin’ lil’ man! 🙏🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Sorry, that was a private event and someone paid big $$. That was as spontaneous as a Joe Biden press conference, the kid did great! But everyone today believes way too much.
10 years old, started learning during lockdown and plays guitar and piano. That means he started learning when he was 6! The way he handled the solo shows talent beyond his years. I’m a 71-year-old grandmother and I was jumping. Jake, may all the Higher Powers that be guide you in the joy you bring. ❤
As a very young man many many years ago I took guitar lessons for a few years. Unfortunately I didn't inherit either the talent for music my older brother had or not even close to the dedication to practice that he had, so I gave up. I wish I had a tenth of the talent this young man has. I was in awe of watching him play, in fact I can truly say I'm jealous of his talent and I'm 76 years old, LOL. A STAR IS BORN.
So amazing. I was so thoroughly impressed with your performance. Not only did you completely nail it with your guitar skills, You exhibited the stage presence of a star. You have a gift that will most likely lead to stardom. Stay pure & keep your dad by your side to protect you from the corrupt ones lurking in the music industry. I look forward to seeing what the future has in store for you. Rock on buddy!
I'm 66, I'm now selling my guitars and amps! Awesome, I just love seeing young kids with so much talent. It gives me hope for humanity! Well done Jake.
I’m so happy for you this almost made me cry a tear or two of joy. This hit me for whatever reason but I think it’s just pure joy and happiness for you. What an awesome job and great solo by the way. Way to shreddddddddd!!!!🤟🏽🤙🏽🙌🏽👏🏽🫡
I vividly remember this very kid auditioned for Britains Got Talent together with his dad(Tim), and boy got Simon's Golden Buzzer. Well done lad. You have long way to go. Big fan right here from India.
Oh, Jake. You have this old woman in tears. My guitar-playing days are over, now that Mother Nature has twisted my fingers, but this made me not mind for the first time. Keep on rocking. You’re going to make it.
@@mshazzard2myselfnursing did the same for me but seeing this young man play one of my favorite songs to perfection made me feel young again for a few moments. Tears here too. Thank you Jake and the amazing front man for giving him the chance❤❤
This kid is beyond amazing . He never missed a chord ! I hope to see him in his own band soon!! Kudos to the parents also who let him pursue his dream . I am speechless Jake . You rock!!❤❤
Omg!! I’m crying!! Jake ! You are amazing! Thank you to his parents for raising such an awesome kid!! Every child should learn an instrument!! You have a bright future !
BRILLIANT! You can tell this kid put the time in and bothered to learn how to play the song the right way! That right there is talent, commitment, practice, and deserving of getting up on that stage! KUDOS to the lead vocalist for his kindness.
That child will remember this for the rest of his life. He will tell this story over and over again. Thanks to this wonderful band to let him up on this huge stage and play with accomplished musicians 🫶🤘🎸
@@Papadoc1000 Muahahaha, nah. Just see things as they are. This was a ploy to get this young fella some well deserved attention, it simply wasn’t as spontaneous as portrayed.
Seriously blown away, wow just wow, and respect to the band for giving him his moment in the sun, but don’t think we’ve seen the last of that young man 😊
Major kudos to Rick and the entire RPJ Band for backing this great young talent onstage during their gig! Way to inspire new musicians for the industry! When I need a major dose of endorphins, I will return to this great video! Thank you, too, for allowing a 10 year old to show the world that great music is ageless! Jake, a LOT of fans are now behind you and look forward to all your future work! Awesome skills!
Seeing this makes you forget all the divide in our world because music has always brought us together. This was awesome! Way to go, kid! Don't ever stop chasing your dreams!
Wow... what a beautiful video. Thank you to the lead singer of this band for creating this moment. Now this video has millions of views and I'm sure this kid will get many other opportunities. Such a talented kid. I'm blown away. Good luck to him. ❤
The RPJ Band, Thank you for giving this young man a gift of a lifetime memory!!!8 Young man….kudos to you, great guitar with great stage presence! May you go far young man!!!
Truly amazing- accolades to the band/ lead singer , to Jake, Jake’s parents and all the fans! What talent was on display! Thank you for making my day!!!! From America 🇺🇸 w love… boy have you got a brilliant future young man.
63 year old gramma, here... not a heavy metal fan... but WOWJAKE! I SOO ENJOYED WATCHING YOUR "Shredding" the strings of that guitar! Best thing I've seen ALL year!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I'm 65 and 61 year olds might give it a year or two or maybe 4 or 5 to learn why all moms say respect ones elders. Trust me, it sure isn't because you get more respect with each passing year but I leave you to answer that question for yourself. All old age aside, I'm respecting JAKE whose age is the only age worth respecting at this moment on his channel where he made us all proud! Thanks Jake! Can't wait to see what you might do in the future cause this old granny thinks you might be a genius in many subjects (subscribed). You looked like you were having a blast! Very, very cool!
