We finished two videos ago and have been having copyright issues. We removed the vocals to get it live, that's the audio at the end. This video is being fully claimed by The Orchard Music. Not sure if they even own it but it's nice to get a video up successfully

That was great doing the triple tracking! And there's the one solo that goes off on its own a bit... That happens in Yer Blues as well. There's another solo behind the main lead only down a bit in the mix...

Just the 2nd Gretsch solo recorded on Feb 25th but no other overdubs. You can hear the original Paris takes in Anthology 1 where George plays the rhythym electric and John on J160E

@@Vincentlpp08 no, I’ve got replacement guards - my bridge pickup is further back than standard hofners. I’ll need to have a custom one made. Also the pickguard oddly screwed into the body on this hofner - I didn’t like that haha

Well done!!! One question. On the actual recording John makes mistake during the first chorus (round 0:45 mark). After "Can't Buy Me Looove" (Emi, Ami) he's supposed to go on C7 for "everybody tells me so) but he mistakenly plays Emi for two beats or so until he moves onto the correct C7. Did you miss that? Or you intentionaly did not copy the mistake?

Funny, I was just thinking about you guys the other day. "Can't Buy Me Love" came on the Beatles Sirius/XM channel, and I noticed that Paul pronounces the word "can't" in a very American way, not "cahn't" as the British pronounce it. It's very jarring, and once you hear it you cahn't un-hear it. And I wondered what the boys at Ably House would say about it...**IF* they ever would make a video again. And then you do this one! I mean...damn!

The only similarity I see with the previous version, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YJoQPTUrAsw.html, is the drums. Did they use the same drum backing track, then rerecord the 🅱️ASS and guitars, except for the straight-edged Rickenbacker 360/12?

@@neilcandeloramusic hey that was Damn good. I’m very critical of Beatle bands, sound alikes etc, but that was very Good. It did sound like a isolated Young McCartney Vocals track!! Impressive, but all stuff you guys do is impressive, and like I said, I admit, I don’t impress easily when it comes to Beatle imitators. But like w your music, you not only learn the songs exactly note for note, but you emulate THE FEEL!! That’s very commendable!! I’m a big fan, of you guys. Been following you guys for a while. It’s as if you live the moments which is what I used to do when I was in one of the first Beatle tribute bands in mid 70s. I still do with all groups songs I perform I’d try to live it, or make it mine these days.

Are Chinese Epiphone Casinos any good? I thought about looking for a Korean one but am having trouble finding them. I can't afford the Elitist or the Made in USA Casinos at this point so I was wondering if it's worth buying a Chinese Casino.

(Very long post inbound) As an owner of a chinese casino, I'll say this: The wood quality and finish quality are very good, and feels nice in the hands. But the neck is glossy, so it sticks if you got clammy hands. The slim taper D profile feels is a bit thin to me, but after a few months you can work around it. Sadly the neck joint is at the 16th fret, and not the 19th, so upper fret access is not great. The fretboard is Pau Ferro, so it looks and feels super dry without copious amounts if lemon oil. The tuners feel good, but the ratio is very high, so they require careful input. The tailpiece feels fine, but the bridge is ATROCIOUS. The saddles are held in by this flimsy retaining wire, and it makes this obnoxious rattling sound. Please, if you replace anything on the china casinos, replace the bridge. As far as the pickups go, they sound pretty good, all things considered, but they are really high output, and wont have the same "vintage sound" to my ear. It's fine on the bridge pickup and the middle setting, but the neck pickup solo'd is wayy too muddy, the bass is overbearing and I have to turn it down when overdriven. The knobs feels good, and the pots are very smooth, no scratching, but the tone pots have a hard treble cut just before they hit the "1-" notch. The pickup switch could be better though, it's a bit loose side-to-side. Overall, the guitar is a great base to do mods and upgrades, but some of the the factory components need to be swapped out to make it truly exceptional. If you got the cash laying around, give it a go!

Pyramid Flatwound I believe. I likely only changed the wound strings, the top ones are whichever the owner of the guitar had on. I think flats sound a better on 12string and thats what would have been more available in 1964

@@davefelipe-musiccoversandv276 I don't actually know, but I think I see the green dunlops the most around Neil. He doesn't mind the purple picks but he prefers the .88 - 1mm range best. We tried out the felt picks and that had a cool scratchy sound. I actually used it on I Wanna Be Your Man, George's part. It helped get that bright attack at the beginning of the song. Although we don't think George used them, it helped us get the sound that day
