Wenn man kein Problem damit hat, immer wieder manuell Patterns zu switchen, damit man Variation in den Track bekommt und wenn man Samples effektiv nur abspielen und nicht wirklich bearbeiten möchte, ist die TR-8s klar im Vorteil. Der direkte Zugriff auf alle Tracks und deren grundsätzlichste Parameter hat wirklich Vorteile. Das war's aber auch schon. Der Digitakt ist in allen anderen Belangen der TR-8s deutlich überlegen. Ich würde ihn für's Live Jamming daher trotzdem bevorzugen, weil er den besseren Sequencer hat (der dir erlaubt, Variations mit Trig Conditions und P-Locks auf alle Paramter in ein Pattern zu bauen, dass sich beim Looping immer wieder ändern kann), weil du Samples exakt formen kannst, wie du sie haben willst und weil du mit nem Shortcut einen Parameter deiner Wahl auf allen Tracks gleichzeitig verändern kannst und dann durch Pattern Reload alles wieder in den Ursprungszustand versetzt - während die Effekte trotzdem noch ausklingen. CTRL-ALL nennt sich das und ist ein Wahnsinns-Performance-Feature, was man nicht unterschätzen sollte ;-)

Aber klar doch! :-) Mal schauen ob ich die beiden verbinde. Mag es eigentlich nicht so, wenn ich zwei Maschinen mit komplett unterschiedlichem Workflow handlen muss. Aber lass dich überraschen ;-)

Sind die beiden Kisten am Ende doch so unterschiedlich in ihrem Workflow? Was sind für Dich die gravierenden Unterschiede zum Digitakt? D.h. du nutzt beide als reine "allinonebox" Lösung und dachtest gar nicht an eine Heirat? ;-). btw. guter Track, freue mich immer wenn ich ein neues Video von Dir entdecke. Qualitystuff!

Danke Marc :-) Ja, der Workflow ist komplett verschieden und es sind unterschiedliche Herangehensweisen nötig. Und: Nicht alles geht mit der TR-8s. Und richtig: Ich mag die all-in-one Lösung :-) Ich denke über ein Comparison Video zum Digitakt nach. Weiter oben in den Comments wurde ja auch schon gefragt. Mal schauen ob ich das auf die Reihe bekomme :-D

I just have the TR-8s for 2 days now. Havent explored everything yet. For Live Performances i really like the TR-8s! Its great to have all the necessary Faders and Knobs for each Channel. Master FX works great towards the Live Aspect and the Scatter Effect also comes in handy. Sound Design is a bit messy though and the Sequencer is very basic. Motion Recording (and Parameter Locking) is also extremely limited. Stay tuned. I may do a video about this topic in a couple of weeks! First i wanna get a bit more comfortable with the TR-8s so that im confident that i've really touched everything! :-) Cheers

Cant remember anymore. Swing Settings werent "Standard" on that TR-8s. I just dialed in a value until i came close to what i had in mind. This roughly corresponds to 61% on the Elektron Boxes (or the MPC 16 Swing-61 - Preset in Ableton Live).
