Glad a lot of “pop punk” bands nowadays are cooking with hardcore/grunge elements added in. The high-pitched, whiney tone of vocals and just sense of mediocrity in modern “pure pop punk” got old fast 💙
@@thebigboi5357 Dear and the Headlights are sick but not as "pop punk," they are more alternative. Mom Jeans, Jank (a bit more controversial because of the reason the band broke up but that's something you can look up), Mumblr and Basement are all really good bands as well all have a unique sound but fit into the category of "pop grunk punk" type of thing. Hopefully this helps :)
