40:00 If there's anything life taught me is that... You don't tug on Superman's cape You don't spit in the wind You don't pull the mask off an old lone ranger and you don't taunt at Max in a match
12:24-12:39 Max opened up some new sauce with omni man that I didn’t know was possible. Managed to do 414% damage before he even used a scorpions kameo too. Nice!
@Gennosuke1983 It wasn't ninja that found them. These combos were found a week ago in Twitter. There was a lot of videos on it so I don't know who started it, but it wasn't ninja or max.
Max is genuinely one of the first channel I’ve consistently had so much fun watching over the years. Keep up the amazing work Max, you god damned legend
@@MetacredI highly suggest you do, obviously you’re watching max so you see how fun he is but as someone who mains in at this point in time he’s reaaaally fun, hard to use, but really fun. I didn’t get the game cause of him cause I pre ordered it before the Kombat pack was announced but I’m so glad cause I love the show and his moveset is wonderful. I use Kung Lao as Kameo though because of the hat which makes a lot of his unsafe moves safe on block and gives him a projectile. But scorpion is definitely for the kombos
Idk if it is just omniman or not but it has happened to me a couple times vs him and I saw it a couple times here. If you unblock his jump punch, sometimes it sends him too far back to punish. I thought successfull unblocks were supposed to make the opponent land right next to you so you can punish?
It's not just Omniman. Up block behavior is inconsistent in my experience. It may be roll back or something, but sometimes it behaves as advertised and other times it acts like a normal block even though it makes the sound and gives the Up Block notification.
I've been on a laughably wobbly road to Grand Master (currently Champion) since beating Invasions this season, and I can't help but find myself always tripped up by D1 after their big combo. Is my only option around that just duck and hope I have a chance for a next shot while risking being grabbed?
Johnny's Star Power IS worth it, but it's more of a "Going even Further Beyond" situation. Where normal matches, you don't bother with it. But if it's a tight match, your opponent is pressing you hard. Then you try to build up that meter real quick and then unleash it in a flurry of FUCKIT
Omni-Man Gives us that Superman Gameplay we always wanted but would never get from Superman, Simply Because, He's Superman. Ultraman Maybe, Superboy Prime most definitely, But not Clark. Batman: "He Bruises but he doesnt kill, Do you? Clark."
Same, but i can understand him not playing SF6 that much. He talked about it on triple k.o. The difference between SF6 release and now are 6 months and 2 characters, 1 of which he found boring. He doesn’t care about singleplayer content and bored of spamming ranked games.
sf6 just feels dry and stretchy because it already started with not alot of characters and they are releasing 2 characters in 6 months which just make it feel stretchy boring and dry
The worst combination ive seen so far with omni man is him and kung lao when he throws the hat on the floor and simultaneously is floating waiting to hit u can't block up or down. U have be fast and kick him in the air before he lands a hit.
When Omni-Man dropped Max even said he was avoiding Kung Lao because it was all anyone was using on release and he wanted to show his audience something different.
I think in MK1 there is protection against unblockables, so if you get hit by a low at the EXACT same time as an overhead, it will block both. The best the game allows is a hard-to-blockable setup.
If you're talking about fatalities, it is mostly because playing online, people usually just want to start the next match as quickly as possible and seeing them multiple times gets old too.
