I was at the end and like WHERE ZEPPY????? Also, yeah, the operator clothes are so easy to fashion up nicely, as is the frame itself, the customizability is thROUGH the roof. Energy and emissive both effect the base skin's coloration, which is just SO cool
A fashion tip for Hydroid's Deluxe Skin: I use the Bleeding Body Ephemera and colored it a nice blue to make it look like water is constantly dripping off his body. If you were around for the last Dog Days, the Soaker Ephemera is also a cheeky bit of fun having fish swim around our water boy!

I actually prefer Ash's shroud skin over koga. It's unfair that it was placed C tier when it's cool and obvious improvement over regular skin. But Ember Vermillion which isn't even that different from regular skin got B tier. Also Equinox Antonym is my personal S tier

Spoilers for a game you will never play- one of the plot twists is that the female character was actually the secret identity of the rival character kicks your ass early on. It is basically a werewolf storyline, and this is the wolf.
As a Nidus main myself, I completely agree with your sentiment about the Phryke skin. It's dope, but it just doesn't scream infested. Looks more like something out of Berserk than what is supposed to be a space cancer-wielding demigod. Would have fit more as a skin for someone like Nekros.

the simplicity of banshee's soprana skin is why I love it. It's toned done and really sleek. plus it looks like she has thigh high boots/socks heh... I love it personally.
Revenants Mephisto skin checks almost all the boxes for me. I’m a HUGE sucker for anything with a spooky/demonic look especially horns. I’ll get almost any skin if it’s at least got horns honestly 😅

-Ash I think your thinking a bit too linear about ash. He's less of just ninja and more like ninja-esque predator/animalistic xenomorph assassin. I also love his shroud skin, he feels like something out of mortal Kombat -Khora i dont have this one yet but i want it, im ignoring all the comments others have made because it feels more nitpicky that i care to be for her in particular, the japanese blade-rose theme works perfectly imo, nothing strange about hers i feel, its what i'd actually EXPECT her deluxe to look like, she has that "bondage" whip lady look alot of us like to say she has normally, just now with some japanese floral theme to it. -Limbo This is another frame i believe you're thinking about FAR too linear. i KNOW fitting the theme of the original frame itself is a thing, but as someone who works in an artfield i appreciate them taking the risk of completely averting his original concept, it works because i dont just think of limbo as a top hat dandy interdimensional guy. I think of him more along the lines of the type of character thats too intelligent for his own good, eventually becoming one of the anomalies they study. Thats what i get from limbo, he's normally a very dr-strange-like character who now embodies that, and i dont just mean because he has the sentient theme now, i mean the way he looks being "otherworldly" or "not him"... is EXACTLY why he is even more himself in that skin, its weird and makes you go "huh?". it doesnt embody his PERSONA that you're used to, but it does embody the concept behind him. Its very abstract. The actual inspiration i believe is a jiangshi if you notice the thing on his face. -Mirage That jester themed skin is perfect in my opinion. I dont know who told people warframes need to look "like warframes". i know what they mean, but honestly Warframes imo just look like people wearing crazy looking sci fi suits, we've have plenty warframes that already look quite human. I believe the reason the mirage skin works so well is BECAUSE she's so humanoid, i actually find it rather neat when warframes have more human qualities, i know subtle and uncanny resemblance to humanoid features/figure is what makes warframe's design approach so interesting but to have one that is blatantly humanized to a T, is a design approach that actually emphasizes what she is a reference to, she's a devilish jester, and its perfect for her, its for people who want that more human-like facial feature and body physique, and if you know anythign about the lore of warframes and what they are.......it only makes more sense. -Nidus okay, i MAIN NIDUS. His deluxe is something where im in a weird place. I love the base form, i love the theme, and i love certain aspects of it, i liked it even more in the concept art than in the actual model, but something that really becomes a turn off for me is the bulky armored look he turns into. If you dont like the eyeballs, believe me i dont believe you feel what nidus is meant to be, the eyeballs is EXACTLY what he SHOULD by all means have. Think about the kinds of things that inspire him, the flood, dead space.....the eyeballs serve as very blatant implication that he has devoured other organisms, that he is this hive mind king of body horror and assimilated organic bio-weaponry. i understand the metallic shell he has, i just HATE how ridiculously clunky it looks and actually is in gameplay, it clips all over the place, and the fact that we cant customize nidus' mutation look seperate from his base palette doesnt help, so wanting to make certain parts looks a certain way, then his armor takes on the colour you DONT want, is conflicting and frustrating to colour. The head with the brain showing is something i've always wanted him to have, especially with his alien-like skull head with the baring teeth, the eyes that move around, the extra 2 limbs that unfortunately DO NOT OPEN. This is a skin i want to like very much, but im often conflicted about it, the helmet however i use all the time, but the rest of it shouldve been thought out a bit more, maybe just not done the way it was, instead i wouldve rather if he didnt get bulkier, but actually went down the route of the arms opening up to reveal the body horror it couldve been hiding beneath etc etc. -saryn Simply put i think its beautiful but her hands clipping through is fucking awful.
I have mixed feelings about the Equinox one too, I like it with certain weapons but it's pretty out there. (The Syandana is a common pick though) Parts of the day form one look SUPER sick though, love the glowy shins. Personally, I always wanted a skin that looks like OG Equinox, but much, much more refined. I love the yin yang theme and have a duality fashion where it's a black and white split on original helmet (Equinox is still most used from being my first main so there's nostalgia there), but it's a pretty goofy helmet. Divisa is sick too btw, really got the most out of the base model, amazing texturing/channels. Also, I seriously want a Hydroid rework too, some of his kit's concepts have real potential too, just badly implemented and underwhelming. I'd also love an Inaros rework, I always thought it'd be cool if he got much better abilities that still don't need much in the way of modding, so he could play around with more gimmicky and utility based mods on top of stacking ehp, maybe add some more cool set mods alongside his rework. Sandstorms could amount to strong stuff, blinds, slashes, vulnerability, GROUPING, could have that all in one. If he could then maybe use his melee while in sandstorm and gain a unique movest that's set in stone, he could possibly hit super hard with things that lack great dps/usability in their stances/speed/reach. (Maybe some Jat Kittag fun)

I gotta wholeheartedly disagree with the Limbo deluxe skin, honestly it looks soooo sick! And I’m glad they gave him a sentient makeover, and because of that I don’t really understand the reasoning of saying it shouldn’t be a limbo skin when it’s clearly a sentient skin like the volt and mesa ones where they even say that particular ware frame IF the sentiments would’ve made them. Not only this but the same logic could be used for that Excalibur skin(the one with visor) that seems more in tune with what I would want ash to have being ninja/samurai themed. That specific skin also reminds me of a berserker like when Wolverine was escaping the weapon x program or training during it and had that proto helmet
For better/worse, Mag looks like a Victoria Secret mannequin, and Khora looks like she's wearing a diaper. Valkyr's Leonessa and Mithra skins made me want to play her more
I have to completely disagree on Volt Proto skin. The one thing I hate are huge spikes and for some unfathomable reason they essentially gave him, and Nidus, a massive cod piece which looks stupid to me. Volt's Proto skin fixes that problem for me. In similar fashion Banshee skin fixes her way over the top spike madness they did to her original and prime skin.
I any day of the week would give chromas deluxe skin a s+ tier before his prime his base skin is so ugly and hard to fashion with thats its almost a requirement then the prime came out and now I'd say its maybe a b tier borderline a tier
My least favorite is probably nezha, it would be a cool skin for like loki, or harrow, but it completely ignores all the things that make base nezha unique

Boohoo, you shat on the Limina skin, haha. Guess it's one of my top favorites simply because I loved that skin before I even got limbo, so while his top hat style is great too, for me the deluxe doesn't look anywhere as far shewed from what he is supposed to be.
My thought on the limbo skin, yes you are right it is totally NOT like limbo at all, and that is why I love it because I dislike the core limbo aesthetic.
I dig how chill you are about this :D My 2 cents: I got the Ash Shroud bundle 90% to give my Mutalist Cernos a better skin, but since Ash Prime's helmet looks like a pharaoh already, Prime helm + Shroud skin + Inaros colors = Inaros :D His default Prime skin looks so much better with the Carabid Tennogen helm, tho he does look much tankier than he's supposed to be. I wanted to love Excal's Proto skin but the metallics on it are...infuriating? xD No matter how much color you dump in, the metallics will always be 'grey with a hint of' the actual color you actually selected. And _half_ the metallics are tied to the color of the _matte body armor_ on his pants. Wanted to love Gara Kaleida too, but it's emaciated like Garuda's Hinsa skin, imo the glass looks like she's balding, and the face looks like Squidward without his nose ): Harrow Reliquary is so baller I bought the bundle for the attachments and the Javlok skin _even tho I still do not own Harrow._ Some of the best, most flexible attachments I own. Loki Knave is boring but his armor set looks great and I wish I could justify getting it lol Nidus Phryke and Nezha Empyrean have the same problem for me: they're so HUGE that it seems impossible to change their silhouette with fashion. Instead of making your own identity, imo it's just like 'Hey it's The Same Nezha As Everyone Else, but with Ki'Teer pieces tacked on' xD Excal Zato toes this line too, though I can stomach it with a smaller helm. Conversely, Mirage Oneiro, Trinity Strega, and Valkyr Gersemi have my respect because their slight figure _makes them more flexible._ If it wasn't for the colorfuckery, Excal Proto would have this benefit too. I understand Valkyr's deluxe and Prime helms are off-putting with their weird...pacifier/ball gag things??? but the Eos Prime armor + her Mithra helm is lovely and subtle

Garuda deluxe isn't going for vampire.. It fits her hindu inspired design and lore perfectly. Looks like a brutal hindu godess. Also warframes are dead humans so I don't understand people complaining about looking human.

I dunno why, but when I watched you go over Titania's Empress skin I can't help but feel you absolutely missed the idea of the skin. Maybe its just my point of view but I swear when I see her she has a very moth-like look to her. Her usual aesthetic leans heavily towards butterflies and fairies, but the empress skin covers her in more "fluffy" looking material, especially around the collar of her skin which gives her much more mothy appearance. Specifically the skin kinda reminds me of the Venezuelan Poodle Moth just by the colors. Now if you just feel like its less memorable that's fine, but its the one skin in your tier list I'm gonna go to bat to defend. I'd bump it up to an A. Her Donann skin though is a fucking S tier, fight me.
love khora's skin, but her belly section colours weird on that skin Garuda's skin reminds me of a vampire lord that's just awoken from hibernation (think viktor from underworld), love it for the blood aesthetic just wish it didn't have the Y feet
After watching this with Garuda Prime released, it really makes the Hinsa skin even worse. Like, you go from Garuda, to Garuda Prime, and then... that thing. On your constant complaint about "They look human..." Uhm, the Nova skin just looks like Iron Man lady skin, Nyx looks like a human wearing a dress. Inaros Deluxe Skin's helm is what doesn't seem to match, and throws the whole thing off. Also, the Noble Animation is a bit meh, whereas if you use the creepier bent over one, that looks more monstrous, the skin feels better too. On Octavia - I think it is supposed to be a bat. The snoot like mask, "ear" protrusions, small wing like things on her arm, and an almost Batwoman feel about the main part of the frame's body. Only thing I can think of, since she is the Music frame, so Squeaky Bat? After watching the whole way through - I can agree with some of your choices, but I think your inconsistency with the "Ugh, human looking! Not as good!" threw off enjoying the actual listing, especially when the viking skin was basic AF, without any real definition, and it was yeeted into S tier, and the point of Saryn, the Poison Frame, being a beautiful but dangerous flower in her deluxe skin, was D tier. Like, yeah, Rhino's has that simplicity going on, but it fits sooo much more, and works so much better as a deluxe skin. The detailing is just out of this world for it. BUT... I totally agree with the Khora skin placement and I love her as a frame, one of my first frames, as I splurged on buying her when I came back to the game and she had just been released. I would put this Tier List in the Solid B Tier. It would have been a C tier, almost touching B, but the Hank Hill joke made it sneak above.
I think Inaros's Ramses skin is based on Ra's Jaffa guards' armor from Stargate. I think it's a cool skin if you know where it's coming from. Aestheticly it also fits into Warframe, so it should be at least an A tier skin.

The Harrier skin and Operator stuff I think is too big! If you scale them down to like 90% size, it'll be perfect for S tier. You got the racing vibes, Armored Core vibes, Transformer vibes, it's quite nice.
