When Tak's rolling went to 1s and 2s... really felt for him.. we all know how that feels

The editing is so good it’s insane. The comedic text and sound effects are great, but by far my favorite part is how you managed to turn a 3h game into a compelling 30 minute narrative by highlighting certain events and relegating others to editor’s notes. The premise of old vs new is a great hook, and I love how the game plays out with the marinelets walking into chadmarine firepower and getting sat down, only to then bring the heat and remind the ultra-ultrasmurfs that all plastic is equal before the multimelta. The finale with the centerpiece model getting a thunderhammer bukkake from turbobuffed terminators is such a good moment it almost feels scripted. I really appreciate how you manage to get me emotionally invested in other people’s toy soldiers.

It’s good to see Salamanders. My current army, 10 eradicators and 10 aggressors make the bulk of my army next to troop choices

That "Dice Touch" graphic just dealt d6 mortal wounds to me

The alliteration at ~6 minutes in was great.... you should give your script writer a raise for that one

The editing on the video was really good. Definetly hyped up the fact this was more of a fun game than a competitive one. Loved the sound effects for the command point spends, and loved the cut on action at the end.

That first turn was basically a handicap for Tak to even out the meltas but damn metlas are just Ctrl + Alt + Delete

This is how the battle went down in the lore: Salamander rushed in the fortress where the rest of his brothers were: "My brothers I bring good and bad news....the good news is that we will have a friendly competition of who has the best firepower!" Another brother stands up, a little worried: "and the bad news?" The first marine sinks in his armor: "I...maybe in a bit of rage because their primarch resurrected insulted them saying that without their primarch they were nothing....aaaand well all the primaris were there and Roboute himself listened and-" The second marine sighs: "For fuck sake...brothers get all of your gear ready this is going to be painful and take a while...."

Expertly edited and narrated, but most importantly you make it feel like I'm right there chilling and watching! This was so good

The bass line when G man hit the field was really hyped but his forces were already looking rough by then.

Great video guys - loved watching the transition of Tak's god rolls in the beginning with Steve dying inside (and outside) transitioning into Tak's luck leaving and him rolling that whole handful of ones & twos... I thought Steve was going to start levitating with satisfaction. Also EPIC editing.

Love the series! Something to keep in mind for future recordings. When you go to the overhead camera, the teams are on the opposite side to when viewed from the front cameras. It becomes a bit jarring to have the teams swapping from left to right so quickly. Thank you for the brilliant series!

This was the best battle report I've seen on the channel, it was so entertaining and brilliant to see the competition alongside the jokes. Maybe, just maybe, at the viewing of this video, a heavily armoured black hand started to curl its fingers around a hammer.
